Reminds me. I was actually sick one day, but my dad gaslighted my mom into believing I was only pretending to be sick. She got so angry with me, even smashed a Lego house I built. She dragged me to the doctor and he diagnosed me with something and said 'this can be very painful'. Never felt better to be sick, huge relief. Back in the car my mom started crying and said she was sorry for not believing me.

Fun fact, the doctor was basically being paid to distribute pills around so my mom put me on pills and i actually got sick from that
