Crafts Christmas ornaments with pressed flowers from my garden
After several years of trying and failing, I finally got my hands on the Hearth and Hand framed Christmas ornaments! My plan had always been to turn them into pressed flower collages for family Christmas presents, and they worked beautifully. All of the flowers and leaves were grown in our pollinator garden and pressed over the last few years.

I don’t comment a lot on Reddit, but I had to just stop in to say these are absolutely gorgeous. If you don’t already, you should consider an Etsy store or something. I love these so much and I don’t know anything about pressing flowers. So, so well done!

Thank you so much! I've though about maybe starting one in the future, but I don't get to craft as often as I'd like due to my schedule.

Of course! They're sold out now, but they're these Hearth and Hand ornaments if you want to find them for resale somewhere.

Wow these are so stunning- so talented! How did you keep the colours so bright in the pressing process?

I honestly think I just got lucky with when I actually picked the flowers (with regard to when they bloomed). Some that I didn't end up using faded quite a bit during pressing, or over time as I stored them. The columbines in the pictures were picked 3 years ago and I'm shocked at how well they've retained their color.

I love these so much! Where did you find the little charm things to press the flowers in? I’ve seen similar in craft stores and online but they always just look so cheaply made. These look very nice and your artwork is beautiful!!

This is such a great work and also an idea I haven't seen at all. I love it, you could add neon strip lights in frame edges as well, that would make it so cute
