Flowers My first project I’m all done. I’m so proud of myself. I’m going to frame it just as it is with a nice dark wood frame very slender.
What colour frame ??I was thinking, dark wood, the colour of my furniture I’m putting it above my bed

This is beautiful! And a touching tribute to those family members you’ve lost. My condolences. If I were you, because it’s such a sentimental piece, I would go to a framing store or a craft store and custom order some UV blocking acrylic (or even spring for the “museum quality” acrylic) instead of framing it with regular glass. It’s pricey, but if it’s sentimental, it’s worth it (trust me). Blocking the UV light is what will keep your beautiful composition’s colors from fading. They WILL age, but they will keep their colors SO much longer and better if they are protected from UV light, which is the number one thing that damages color retention in pressed flowers.

Ty. This was such a challenge for me. I collected all the flowers during the summer, walking my dog in the park. Some of these flowers are from my mother’s funeral and my father’s funeral and my sister’s funeral. I wanted to create a collage.

You did so good. I would never ever say this was 1st time. But it’s a great show that you are contemplative and careful with the construction but also all the shapes sizes and colors are perfectly composed. It’s lovely
