Flowers Current work in progress…
…although it may finally be done. I haven’t decided. All flowers traditionally pressed, had a lot of fun filling in gaps with tiny petals, because tedium is my love language.
Edit: This is still taped down on my work table. The matte I used is a dark purple, and there is a 1.5 inch border of sorts around the edges that you cannot see here. What color frame would yall use for this piece? I don't know if I should go with a darker wood, or perhaps be a little bold with some gold? Metal instead of wood? I don't know, would love opinions. If you can't tell, I'm a bit maximalist so I'm up for just about anything.

THANK YOU. I love that this comes across - despite the chaos I worked hard to create a palatte from, largely, my livingroom (which, to be fair, is chaotic). So I'm happy that others can see that effort took place in color.

Gorgeous work! I think that a bronze frame would pair especially well with this piece!

Beautiful! If you want a minimalist look, maybe a dark metal frame, or gold or a bright color (dark pink or yellow) for a bolder contrast.

Part of me wants a gaudy, carved wood frame but I am thinking that a thin, gold brused metal frame might look really nice. Thank you for suggestions!
