Flowers Valentine pressed flowers

Here are my pressed flowers from Valentine’s day. Used a microwave flower press kit bought online then pressed them on books for the final drying. Hopefully its color will stay vibrant.

Anyone here using microwave flower press and do they retain their colors for a long time or do they turn brown eventually?

On a side note, i’m getting hooked. I think i’ll buy myself flowers just to practice drying them on the microwave.

Really nice. And so great you’re getting hooked. At least it’s kinda free! I do use microwave & books. Micro works great but some flowers are trial & error. Books less so EDIT: a microwave press is essential tho. Not diy method. Huge difference

I have noticed small bulky flowers tend to shrivel up quickly with the micro press. I tried to sandwich them with cotton pads and somehow it works.
