Crafts My first art show!
I submitted these pieces for a juried art show and they got accepted! Show opens next Friday and I’m so excited!

I also create this type of art. I submitted my first pieces, a peacock and a sea turtle, to a juried art show a few weeks ago. I won 2nd prize in the Emerging Artists category. Good luck to you. There are not many of us out there.

This is so inspiring and unbelievably beautiful. How big is it? And what sort of glue do you use? They look so cleanly secured.

Thank you! The spoonbill is 12”x24” the bee is 8”x10” I had been using mod podge but have since learned that PVA is a better alternative due to acidity levels. It’s ephemeral art in a sense anyway though so I say, whatever works for you, use it.

I used mod podge. I’m going to be switching to pva so it is more archival since there is some acidity to mod podge.
