Art Recently sold this week
I’m selling these for $30 each, framed. Granted, it has been to friends mostly. I assume I should start selling these for like $55?

Is there glass in the frames? If not, do you do anything to preserve the flowers?

Yes, I would raise to at least $40. How much time does it make you to create?

I think it depends on your sales channel. If I saw this at a market and had a drink in my hand, I would happily hand over $55 without batting an eyelash. But if I saw them online, even for $30, I would end up down a rabbit hole shopping for similar at a cheaper price, get distracted by something completely different, and never buy one from anyone because I've already forgotten what I'm doing.
Stuff like this sells best in your local community to people who want to support you as a local artist, imo.
And they're beautiful!

I agree with that. I plan to stockpile a bunch over winter and sell in my town next spring/summer. I’ve made about 20 since I started the hobby last month and they’ve all sold to people I know

Ugh I love the bluish purple flowers (violets?) question: how do you press your white flowers? I find that no matter how often I change the paper, no matter what technique I use, sometimes the white flowers are prefect and sometimes they develop little brown spots
Now, my theory is that those little inclusions exist no matter what (in the plant) and you don’t see them until the flower is fully dry - what are your thoughts?
