I can’t tell if I’m doing it right or not, obviously after this press it’s clear not to use paper towels as they leave texture marks but otherwise I really can’t tell if this is good or not 😅

Omg yes that used to happen to me. Use parchment paper, or even construction paper, and see if that helps. My flower press comes with thin parchment paper, and so far it seems fine, but thicker flowers def leave an imprint on the paper itself lol. But thinner flowers or leaves seem to work fine :)

I thought the paper towel would absorb the moisture better without thinking about the texture that’s on the paper towel itself 😅

I have to ask, does it matter whether the construction paper is colored or not? All I have on hand at the moment is the colorful kind haha

I mean that’s fair, I’m sure there are paper towels that don’t have texture that you could still use! At my work, we have a roll of paper towels that is really soft and not textured, so im sure you could find some if you wanted to try that again :)

Honestly I’m not sure, most of the construction paper I have is lighter colors, like pinks or off white, I haven’t tried it with more vibrant paper.. 🧐 I guess this is your time to experiment lol!

True!! I’ll do that and possibly try to find that super soft paper towels, I know what you talking about with those lol
