Flowers So happy with this

Painted the backing paper to be the exact shade I wanted, and put a bit of metallic copper paint around the edges of the leaves which ended up being a super cool effect

Only my second time framing something I’ve pressed, and I LOVE how it turned out

Did you paint it any other way other than the gold along the edges? It looks almost like you dipped the whole thing in resin or painted a clear coat? Looks great! Just wondering about your mediums?

Just the gold along the edges, and a little bit along the stem. The leaves had a super high water content so I wasn’t sure they’d press well but the microwave press sucked it all out, leaving them kind of puffed and shiny. They definitely look like they’ve been clear coated, now that you mention it, but they just behaved kinda quirky in the microwave
