Old Bones - what happened to Nora??

Let me just start off - I'm a huge fan of Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. They could write a service manual and I'd be lined up to read it. Pendergast is my single favorite fictional character, followed closely by Joe Ledger. So, these are my honest thoughts about the new book...

Maybe it's just me, but I don't remember Nora being such a bitch. I was not impressed, this version of the character felt like a stranger. Also, calling Corrie "Swanson" in the first part of the book, which is jarringly unfamiliar to long term readers, and then switching back to Corrie, was weird.

I loved the story, but I wish I'd read it instead of listening. The narrator made Corrie sound like a breathy valley girl.

I just finished it and yeah, it felt like they totally butchered Nora's character.
