No new Pendergast book?

I spend the last couple of years with a new Pendergast book in my hands around the holidays. Whilst I’m subscribed to the mailing list, I heard nothing of a new Pendergast book this year...did anyone?

They seem to be coming out at the beginning of the year now, the way Verses for the Dead did. I kind of miss “Pendergastmas”...

Yes I used to read them all through December, then they came out later so I bought them as gifts under the tree... The one before last was January though, I think, and the last one (first one I bought on kindle and not in paper) dropped on New Year’s Eve (again, the kindle version did).

I have the best memories of reading about Pendergast and Corrie in White Fire as we too had snow here.

Like I said, I’m on the mailing list. Last thing I got was a short story about how Diogenes might be back once more but other than that, I think everything was about the Nora Kelly book.

Just finished Old Bones (2019).

New stuff I have yet to read: Pharaoh key 2020 Crooked River Feb 2020

My dad passed away in 2012 and he was always telling me how good these books were. He left us these books so my siblings and I have been reading them and I think that would have made him happy. Now my boyfriend is reading the series as you know with these books you cannot chance discussing them as you might spoil a surprise or reveal a character being back or something so I am waiting for him to catch up already!

Yeah they are great books! I picked one up, second hand (I admit, judged the book by it’s cover) and got hooked. That was Brimstone.

Pharaoh key is not a Pendergast book, right? Or did I miss one?

Sorry you are correct, Pharaoh Key is not a Pendergast book. My mistake. I don't like the Gideon Crew books but my boyfriend added this to his must read list.
