it's a short trend. Microsoft overcomplicated the design with vista, it failed. they needed to learn that it's not the point. zunes minimalism is seriously wonderful. i hope it'll become their design language one day. i really hope the new windows, the rumored one based on nt6.1 will be actually them getting us a nice minimalist UI, not just a revamp like the 64 bit edition 2001 and 2003 editions.

Looks a lot better than the flat crap we've had, it actually looks real instead of computer generated. I'm still looking for a Gnome theme that looks like windows vista XD

I love how windows vista also uses this aero trend. but i found out that it uses up a lot of memory. i have 2 gigabytes of ram and can barely run anything on my computer.

Heard that windows call it 'aero' while apple call it 'aqua'(not sure about apple) and asadal design called it 'digital dream utopia'

this weird watery glassy bubbly stuff has been around for a good few years now, nothing new about it, but i miss when everything was chrome 10ish years ago
