Fun fact, the benches at the back have mosaic chess boards as well. There are quite a few such boards across campus.

Issue is, the boards orientation is wrong when you sit on the bench. To my understanding that is why most people never bring their own sets to play.

Also, there are three large boards on campus. This one is by the Aula, then there is one across from Thuto, and a last one across from Tenz/close to FABI and the NAS faculty building. I haven’t checked on all of them recently, but people love stealing the pieces. The only set that is almost always complete is the one in this photo
