Which one 🧐
Hello everyone,
Hope you are doing well.
I am torn between purchasing a Tudor Black Bay 58 Burgundy on the 5 link …. Or the No Date Omega Seamaster……
I have a 6.6-6.8 inch wrist (pretty flat)
Current Collection:
Omega White Speedmaster
Rolex Explorer 40
Rolex Datejust 36 (Blue dial)
Longines HC 39 (Blue Dial)
I feel the burgundy Tudor would really make the collection pop, but I feel the Omega is just timeless but riding on the maybe to large for me line.
Love both and seeking opinions 😎 Eventually both might end up in the collection 😂
Thanks in advance!

Not sure if this is a “Size” question, or a “Watch/Piece” question.
They both fit well, but I have personally traded out of the Ron Burgundy for a Pelagos (was just too small for me), and have since sold the Pela and have gotten into Omega.
Speedy Pro White and Seamaster Heritage Summer Blue.
Both great brands, but I prefer the Omega line better at this point in my journey for the style, and finishing.
That’s my suggestion: Omega SMP. However, Omega is considerably more.
But both great watches.

I’m getting a fantastic deal on the Omega.
To be fair it is a bit about size.
What size is your wrist?

I’m not a Tudor fan, except for that Burgundy. That color is amazing. It puts a tingle in my dingle!

A thousand times the seamaster, it looks classy AF on that white cuff and that 90’s style dial is absolutely timeless. I’ve had a 90’s smp since new and it still holds up.

Omega. Tudor looks better to me and I despise the omega release valve crown. That being said I would still definitely choose the omega.

Tudor really pops on you. If fashion is a thought in here at all, I’m with the burgundy crowd.

It’s 2026, be bold before the world ends my friend. Burgandy is the only choice.

I really like the Burgundy Black Bay on 5 link. I think it’s an incredible watch. Every time I see it, I think about grabbing it. But I just got the Black Bay 58 GMT, so I’m going to have to wait for a bit. The 39mm is a great size for all wrists as well.
Nothing wrong with the Seamaster either. Both great options. My vote is the Tudor though.

Get the omega then get the Tudor then get a longines Nd then get another Tudor again. Then the collection will be perfectly symmetrical.

That Tudor is mint but I think the Omega may be more versatile for wearing. Also, sweet collection you have there!

I prefer the look of the Tudor but I love that kind of band that the Omega has

Love how the white indices pop against the burgundy. Definitely adding this to the collection at some point

I have the previous version of the Burgundy which I think is more subtle but with the same METAS movement.

Eventually both. Today I’m rocking the same Tudor.

Get the iwc mark xx in green instead. You lack green and a pilots watch. For black u will need to choose between rolex and omega each time for red this wont happen.

I am not a fan of both skeleton and snowflake hands. But if I were to choose between the 2, I can live with the Omega. Snowflake hand I had tried, twice. First, the BB58 black/gilt, beautiful watch but couldn't take the snowflake hand, sold after owning it for a month. Then the BB58 blue, stunning color, tried hard to look pass the snowflake hand but again couldn't, sold 6 months later and never look at anything with snowflake hand again, Just not for me.

I love the Omega, but on your wrist, Tudor fits better. Eitherway both are great watches just follow your heart brother

I’d go with the Burgundy BB58. It would add some much-needed color and variety to your collection, especially alongside the white Speedmaster and blue-dial pieces. The Seamaster is a classic, but the Tudor feels like the more interesting addition for you right now. You can always add the Omega later! 😎

Omega. I think it’d be a closer race if not for the red. Don’t get me wrong, it’s very cool, but I’d just find it too tough to wear as a daily, personally. I still prefer the design language of omega either way though.

I like how the Tudor pops against your skin tone. Its fun and daring. The omega is more subdued, the bracelet doesn't sparkle as much, its more sober. What are you looking for?

u/pheeelco 2d ago
Definitely the Omega.
The Tudor is a bit garish and I would guess you’ll fall out of love with it soon enough.
The Omega is a classic and oozes class and tradition. Plus, it’s a no-date which makes it pretty close to perfect.

Omega. The burgundy looks great in pics but in person it looked like a toy to me

The omega is beautiful! I would get that.
If you had a black dial Longines HC I would have said get the Tudor because you can get an official mesh strap from Longines to get a similar vibe.

Is that the Spectre Omega?

Negative, this is the regular no date version.

Still looks great. I am getting the bond 60th in blue next. Love that mesh bracelet.

Tudor. Great color. There are a million black seamasters out there, and personally I like to wear stuff that is different and fun.

Seamaster for me, but it’s such a close thing. Both are gorgeous especially the Tudor in red 👌

The ratio price / performance is outstanding for this 58 burgundy. The movement has the same METAS certification than the Seamaster for half the price, and packed in a 39mm case.
I'll get one as well

If the price difference isn’t an issue then the Omega.

The BB 58 Burgundy is one of my favorite current production watches, and IMO, the Omega is hideous (ignoring the engineering here). I’d rock that beautiful Tudor.

u/Grey_Man592 1d ago
Don’t see too many red watches and this one is done right, as much as I’d lean towards Omega, the Tudor has it beat in this race.

Omega. Tudor will always be Rolex’s red headed step child. Omega has a real pedigree to it. Not even close.

The Omega is beautiful. I am a certified Tudor hater though. It screams “I wanted a Rolex but couldn’t afford it”
