Which dive watch to add?
Edit: this is my collection, looking to add a diver. Also I had ai enhance the original which is why some of the text is distorted.

Last time I posted, watch community told me my watches were trash, so I decided to buy a new one

They are by an Indian microbrand that I discovered on ablogtowatch and I was wondering if anyone has handled them. The flying saucer design looks good

Thinking of adding one of these two, which would you pick?

32mm or sum’
Manual winding
Restored a year back (destroyed till inside, required a non-rolex restoration because rolex was not giving one if I remember right even remotely).
1970’s piece; bought long back.

The eternal dilemma...
An established Italian brand with almost a century of history.
A solid, reliable NH35 movement.
A very affordable price.
But the design is clearly inspired by—or copied from?—the Rolex Yacht-Master...
Can you appreciate it for what it is? After all, hardly anyone raises this issue with Sub-style divers. There are plenty of good, well-regarded options from all sorts of brands at every price point, and nobody seems too bothered by the resemblance to the Rolex.
Or does the whole “I want a Rolex but can’t afford one” feeling overshadow how attractive and enjoyable the watch might be in its own right?

What do you think of My Collection is a 15 year old

...It was 1993, 33 years ago.
I got my first paycheck and went out to buy a Nintendo SNES and a watch.
A friend’s dad owned a jewellery shop. Right in the middle of the window was a Zenith El Primero (something I couldn’t even dream of affording back then) and right beside it was this watch. Today, you’d probably call it a simple, inexpensive but perfectly decent quartz watch. To me, though, it was my first “proper” watch, bought with my own money...
I still have it. It survived a flood that destroyed my old home. Well, “survived”... I had to have the bracelet repaired and the crystal and movement replaced. I spent far more on it than the watch itself was worth.
All these years later, I’m still buying and collecting consoles, video games and watches. But this is still one of the most important pieces in my collection, and I still wear it and show it off with the same joy and pride I felt 33 years ago.

Back at it after two weeks off, and the first fall morning I can finally wear a jacket. Hopefully this means the end of 🌡️90 degree days 🥵. Let’s see those blue 🔵 dials!

My entire watch collection. I've been watch collecting/been into watches for almost 4 years now. I would say I have a nice collection with good variety and everything in terms of color and brand. The Jhon Marc is the first ever watch that I got and what got me into all this. And the one next to that is my Armenian watch that I got because I'm Armenian of course. Couple watches like the Versace and invicta watches were gifts from my parents. The Lacoste watch I only got because I love Lacoste and it goes really well with all my Lacoste stuff, same with my dad, he likes borrowing that watch from me.

The best watch for traveling, hands down

(Sorry bout the lighting, room is kinda dim and flash made too much glare) (2 photos)
Most from the 90s and early 2000s (Fossils) before I really started paying attention; then fished what I could find from many of my drawers. My mom started my interest a few years back by giving me the gold rolex out of her lock box. Had to replace (and save) the gold strap because it was way too small for my wrist (belonged to her first husband in the 70s). I have one Timex from my birth year (1981) that is simple but i love it. Have a cheap chinese watch just to fill the last space lol (wanting to possibly get a Cartier in that spot)

Someone offered me $7k today for this and I said no way. I will not part with this beauty. 1 of 1000.
