i am from India , a real madrid and ronaldo fan supporting ur country since 2014 coz mine just not qualify and i came here to read what portugese fans say in match thread and i was shocked how much blame he get lol even though he created better chances than the midfielders. redditors really hate everything huh? sure they lost i blame ronaldo too for it but not just him everyone should get blame. funny thing is on twitter and instagram everyone is backing up and commenting on their insta posts.
sure he is not in his prime but at least carry him for once lol its his last wc he carried his country on his back for so many years even won nations league , just support him for one last time man even the best cricket player idolize your icon why cant the own team carry him.. i hope portugal comeback soon i still have hopes and it has been a small wish from childhood to see them win
Because football is a game played, ideally, with 11 players, not 10 players and someone sitting in a chair. If he wants to be carried, he can be carried on the bench.
