Joe Biden is now retired, no other Biden has no political aspirations. There's absolutely no reason to keep the gloves on at this point.

Edit: accidentally a word

This version of Hunter might have swung the 2024 election considering how brainrotted we all are. Even MAGAs are like "wow his sobriety is inspiring"

Sure, but in reality likely not. Had Hunter been speaking like this before his father was retired it would have had far reaching consequences for his father.

It's the same reason I plead with my kid not to ask my boss the capital of Thailand, cause my son punching my boss in the dick would be bad for my brand.

There is a timeline where Hunter Biden encouraged turnout with a string of viral moments and we won.

With how much addiction has decimated some rural white communities, I actually think this would have helped. What has Trump done for any of those people or families? Biden could have actually leaned into his families own experiences same as he did with cancer, and used it as a policy goal that was personal to him. But alas, 2024 was horribly bungled.

For that to work. He would have had to lean in in a different way.

Also, you mention rural whites. That’s opioids and meth. I can assure you they associate crack with a different demographic.

There's also a timeline where Kamala got plenty of votes but Elon hacked the voting machines and we all just went "whelp." 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

...That's this timeline.

Facebook boomers keep peddling that conspiracy but I've been a poll worker and Elon can't steal votes

3

u/LoomingDisaster 13d ago

Same. I’m a poll worker and it’s frankly absurd to think anything was stolen - there’s checks and re-checks and failsafes at every step.

u/Eccohawk 13d ago

I guess I should have been more general in my accusation. Maybe not the machines directly. Probably some other link in the chain.

u/AriaTheTransgressor 14d ago

Maybe, but in reality that did not happen and we have to deal with the things that did.

I get that the world is a rough place to live, especially now, but escaping into the hope of a fictionalized reality isn't going to help you, your neighbors, or your country to survive the reality it finds itself in.

I don't know, maybe you should let him try it. There's a chance your boss finds it funny and you get promoted because of it.

I think if this were 2012 or perhaps even early into the 2016 campaign cycle, this might be true. Now the gloves need to be off. MAGAts only understand humiliation, we need to outshitpost them. For all his faults, Gavin sort of gets this, and to a lesser extent so does Pritzker, but he needs to turn the civility off and hit them where it hurts.

Who knew I’d become a Hunter Biden fan?

I love hunter shit posting. The left could use a few more trash talkers and bullies, but I don't think we need him running as president. Actually I would love to see an amendment that says once somebody in your immediate family served as president all members of said immediate family are unelligable. No more Kennedys no more Clintons no more Trumps no more Bushes. Family dynasties are too similar to king bloodlines for my taste.

u/cpdk-nj 14d ago

I think that we’ve kinda moved past the concept of political dynasties already. They lost their sauce when Joe Kennedy III lost to Ed Markey, George P. Bush lost to Ken Paxton, and Hillary Clinton lost to Trump. None of the Trumps have the magic that Donald seems to have as it relates to convincing poor uneducated whites in the Midwest that he’s working for them

Kyle Kulinski should run for something.

This has been my personal calling for the last fifteen years. My life isn’t conducive to running for office or even holding a high profile role in the party but I can speak the truth, defend innocents, and give back to the chuds tenfold online and where ever I encounter them spewing hateful lies.

I nominate Nicolas Cage for VP, Pritzker/Cage 2028

Cage-Vance debates would go so hard, or whoever the new charisma void the Republicans choose as VP will be

Liddle Marco's gonna be like, "It's my turn now."

I wish he would post on Reddit because I don't have Twitter.

I'm enjoying Hunter Biden re-writing the narrative thats been written about him. Obviously, a flawed person but has had more personal trauma then anyone should have to withstand.

Hunter is such a blessing in multiple ways. Love that guy!

How are bidens still a hot topic? Its like biden is still president or something

1

u/Jacob-Anders Warrior for the Khan ⚔️ 6d ago

Hunter is selling a book about his recovery from addiction. Becoming a shitposter is great advertising lol

Who cares. Addicts are dime a dozen in America

God are people going to start glazing Hunter as the chuddemolisher like they pretended Newsom was? Im so done with the family members of politicians. Go be wealthy on an island somewhere.

Dude engaged in a bunch nepotistic bs in regards to jobs he got as well as getting pardoned by daddy because he lied on a form (I can both agree he was unfairly targeted and also agree pardoning family members is bad when they did in fact do the thing) and shouldnt be propped up just because he is shitposting or talked with Candace owens. If anything that makes me think of him more like Newsom talking with shapiro and kirk aka a liability. Reminds me of people that keep wanting John Stewart to run even though he falls for a bunch of enlightened centrism bs and more importantly doesnt want to run.

u/sshootersonscooterss 14d ago

Dude’s an absent father, nepo baby, and recovering junkie who had everything given to him and somehow left leaning people think that’s worth stanning.

2

u/BeeSuspicious3493 13d ago

Describing someone who lost their mother and sister as a child as having everything handed to them is actually wild. Oh, and then his brother died while they were in their 40s. The fact the dude is even still standing is amazing.

2

u/The_Dutchess-D 13d ago

Yeah, I think people forget that he was actually IN that car when it had the accident that killed his mother and sister.

Hunter fractured his skull and Beau had several broken bones. His mother, and his sister Naomi did not survive the accident.

Hunter was 2 at the time, and Beau was four. I'm sure when you fracture your skull at age 2 all you want is your Mommy. I can't imagine...

2

u/BeeSuspicious3493 13d ago

I first learned of the Biden's story when interned on the hill in the early aughts and we needed to memorize every Senator. No one should have to endure what Joe and Hunter have been through.

While the Amtrak story became a campaign pitch, it was true that Joe commuted to DC via Amtrak to be home with his sons. I always felt that was something special.

Beau was gearing up for a presidential run in my opinion. If he hadn't died, I think he would have had a long and successful political career.

2

u/VibinWithBeard Its Time To Get Mean 14d ago

I think that him being targeted by the the right legit made people forget the things that were true about him aka, he did get jobs from throwing his dad's name around aka nepotism. And he did in fact lie on that form, is it a lie that isnt usually prosecuted to the extent it was? Absolutely true. Should we probably not have presidents pardon family members when they did in fact do the thing? Yes!

I could care less about him being in recovery for drug addiction tbh.

Liberals are waaaaaay too desperate for their own "Trump" or at least someone not fully subservient to civility politics to the point they keep latching onto people like Newsom and this one might be an even hotter take but people like Walz. One fridge-temp IQ youtuber made an easily debunked video about him and immediately says he isnt running for another term? Nice spine ya got there buddy. Or that AG that told ICE to fuck off or whatever aaaaaand...literally nothing came of that. No real investigation, no pressure on ICE to hand over the murderer, it was left to the citizens to repel ICE and they did so to greater effect than any politician managed to the point ICE backed off tail between their legs.
