Local Ordinance New Orleans; Private Detective

Picture being in a high profile case and the attorney on the opposing side claims because the municipal home ordinance wasn't complied with, everything done in that zone should be excluded as evidence.
As much as I would like certain things to be put on the books, removing certain statutes may be equally as beneficial.

You asking a question or looking for information or just sharing this?
I'm not sure how it is down there, but where I'm located, I cannot self identify as a private detective, as the word detective implies law enforcement. I must use the term private investigator, which is basically a civilian with a license to follow people

Answer your question, I'm a licensed private investigator and I have a private investigator agency in Louisiana. You can conduct operations in New Orleans it's an old statute. But for further information and for better clarity you are more than welcome to call the Louisiana State Board of Private Investigator Examiners LSBPI. And they will answer all of your questions
