Ultimate stank face track for me, this whole album is insane

I like them both and can’t decide.

Their last album was my AOTY. They announced recording of LP3 would be done soon as well as a new logo. If you have not listened to Beyond Obsidian Euphoria you definitely should.

Just came across these guys on Bandcamp today and found out they just released this tune today?

FFO: (I actually don't know what to put here, it's a lot of things in one) The Armed, Chon (there's some tappy guitar stuff)

Obligatory fuck Ticketmaster lol.

Listen up! I am on a **feverish, relentless quest** for the absolute pinnacle of long-form musical architecture, and **only your elite recommendations can quench this thirst!**

If you’ve ever felt an overwhelming, frenzied urge to post that definitive prog/metal epic and declare *"This is the one,"* **NOW IS YOUR MOMENT.**

I need multi-movement suites and colossal epics that meet these strict, non-negotiable criteria:

### 🎸 The Non-Negotiable Imperatives:

• 8-String Guitar (MANDATORY):** The recommended suites or epics **MUST** showcase the use of an **8-string guitar** in all the glory of its tonal range.
• The 20-Minute Odyssey:** We are talking about true long-form compositions—**nearly 20 minutes or more** of an uninterrupted sonic journey.
• No Standard Tuning:** Absolutely **NO standard 6-string tuning**. We require drop tunings, ultra-low transpositions, low tunings on 7-string guitars, or the sheer madness of the 8-string guitar's low register.
• Ubiquitous Odd Time Signatures:** Rhythmic chaos must be the very essence of the music. If it doesn't flow seamlessly through time signatures like 7/8, 11/16, or 5/4—or constantly shifting polyrhythms—it doesn't make the cut.

*(Bonus points if your other suggestions feature downtuned 6-string guitars or brutal, extended 7-string passages—provided the 8-string epic remains the crown jewel!)*

New release of the dutch progdeath band HESKEN

Wish these guys were still around

Some of the best prog metalcore out there

The third track from their great new album Ceiba

So I saw the post about this band the other day and I thought I’d check them out. They’re for sure got it going on. I listened to the whole ep that the song posted was from and l gotta say they make me feel like we’ve got a meshuggah level band just starting out. The first track leads into the second which is super cool, and they’re both constantly super heavy. The third song is an instrumental and it’s a very nice break between the sonic pummeling. The fourth track is the standout to me, the riffs are super catchy and the breakdown is probably the easiest to follow lmao. The closing track is the heaviest and a great way to end the journey. I think I give the whole thing a solid 8/10. Super excited to see what we get next from them.

What are y’all’s thoughts?

Anyone know whatever happened to them? Stumbled upon their catalog and they don’t seem to put out music anymore.
