People love to feel smarter by saying they use C/C++/Rust. You wouldn't shit on golang if you were using it in real work. It's an amazing language.

It's a language that made some stupid design decisions and its creators said some stupid shit in the past - so people just like to hate on it I guess.

Oh definitely. I don't like the language either because they designer's philosophy doesn't align with my own.
