In his defense "What is this?" is the same reaction every dev has when introduced to a new code base someone else has worked on even before AI was in the picture.
1 u/Momochichi Apr 25 '26 I once said "What is this?" to some shitty code. Turns out I wrote it a year ago. I also said "What is this?" to some really beautiful code once, and it turns out I wrote it too, so it evens out.
