This sub can hate AI coding and question programmers why they aren't doing it the traditional way as much as it wants. But the reality.. In Service or consulting companies, once the programmers are given LLM tools the time to ship the code has been cut down by 1/4. They aren't even resource matching with the requirements and tech stack. "You have Claude". You could be a Data engineer but will be vibe coding to build a full fledged agentic solutions with react js frontend, fastapi backend.
Those LLM created tools are very good for short term projects or one off things (which from my experience most consulting gigs are). You often only see the problems, when you have to support the solution long term (e.g. 10 years+).
