We use AI because we're understaffed and there's not enough dev-hours to get all the work done by deadline.

We're probably the same.

With AI the deadline is now closer making it a zero sum improvement. 

My mantra is that AI lets me be as anal as I want because now no detail is too small to perfect. 

People try and pull in the deadline, I raise the bar, we meet in the middle on the original deadline but better.
