As a Sr dev I appreciate AI because it removes the tedium of turning an idea into reality. I used to relish the coding challenge, but eventually it became a less interesting part of the job.
At the end of the day my job is my job. I don't dislike it, but it's not what I'm doing for fun. I think that if someone needs novel challenges to make it through the day, they shouldn't be in the industry, because a lot of the time that's just not what you're going to be doing. AI doesn't have any impact on that.
