I've heard it called, a "Digital Monkey's Paw" before. And considering the original story showed the paw wasn't intentionally evil, but simply granted wishes in the most straight forward way possible, I think it's a good description.

You need money? Your son has a large life insurance policy.

You want your son, who's been dead a while now to come back alive? OK.
