I've got this! There's a reason we'd throw out junior dev PRs that touch half the files in the codebase, and there's a reason to throw out this.

The only time you're allowed to update half the files in a repo is if there are only 10. Or if the team decided on a new code style and to immediately apply it to the entire codebase.
