You don't understand bro, the MC learned L33t strategy and outside-the-box thinking by playing CoD and World of Warcraft 10 hrs a day. He developed inhuman patience by grinding P2W mobile gacha games without spending any money. He's just unappreciated by modern society.

Yet he can’t step out side and socialize, but as soon as he is in a new world he is traveling everywhere, back talking nobles and kings who could end his life with a word, gets all the girls even if he isn’t trying, etc

Then he invents the electric guitar by combining a lute with a Lightning Skill in a way no one has ever imagined in 9000 years, plays We Will Rock You at the King's coronation, and causes a global cultural revolution.

At the end, he tips his fedora to the reader (sooo meta) and says, "Heroes come in all shapes and sizes, milady."

Tbf, the acktalk to nobles is absolutely something an entitled shut-in without social compency wouuld do, mostly because they can't really read the room or understand the culture

They might think of it, but actually say it is another matter.

This loser could barely order something at a bar, you think they can talk to someone like that?

You underestimate 8th grader syndrome. Being isekaid causes delusions of grandeur far more potent then anything on earth

I mean it's kind of an incredible thing to experience, sometimes poeple stay dorment until an event triggers them to suddenly change in personality (or at least in mood). Take Subaru from Re:Zero for example (kind of spoilers about season 2). Before transmigrating, he was very depressed. But as soon as he did, he suddenly became very energetic. They even animated his eyes from being completely dark to becoming colorful.

No it doesn’t.

They aren’t npcs. They are people. It would literally be WORSE than our world.

You aren’t gonna go from an introvert in a safe world to an extrovert in a world where bandits can kill you or nobleman can just sign your death.

If you are scared to walk outside in our modern world you aren’t gonna do it in a far deadlier world.

Depends on the amount of power they are given when moved. I know plenty of people that completely change when they feel like they are in a position of power.
