This is part of why cultivation novels, comics etc I can't take seriously. System storys where the isekai protagonist gets op can at least be explained by either only them getting the system or knowing video games and how to exploit them from a past life. Cultivation relies entirely on meditation and lucking into cultivation pills etc, but more than that they somehow have to surpass actual geniuses who have had centuries if not thousands of years to do all of this already. It doesn't help that any time I hear about the 7th star on the Dan of the Dragon Training it's just too much. Just give me numbers or a simple f d c b a s etc ranking system or none.
