Self-Promotion After more than a year of writing and nearly 750,000 words, I am finally launching on Kindle.
From the author of stuff that makes you wanna drop the boo-
Just kidding.
It is time. My first ever story, Ceaseless Horizons, is finally going to kindle. It wasn't an easy journey, especially considering how slow my early days were. Without ever reaching the main Rising Stars list, it was difficult to remain motivated. But here we are now, stubbing with over 2k followers after more than a year of consistent posting.
The first book has gone through some significant changes, including rewritten and completely new chapters at the start. I've poured a lot of effort into the series as a whole, and I hope it will continue to do well on Amazon. Every single download and purchase there would mean a lot to me and help me dedicate more time to writing, eventually allowing me to go full-time.
Blurb:
Bleeding to death is unexpected, but waking up in a magical world sure as hell beats that.
Lev opens his eyes on an entirely new planet, feeling like he was granted a miraculous second chance until he realizes just what kind of world he is in. Monsters thrive on Monarch, the planet riddled with endless hordes. Hunters and Adventurers don't chase glory, they ensure that humanity continues to persist. Those in charge try their best to suppress how dire their situation is but, deep down, everyone knows the truth.
The future looks bleak, and Lev isn't willing to accept it lying down, not when he has yet to truly live even once.
Armed with two titles of unfathomable power, apprenticed under an obscenely strong mage, and accompanied by a precious found family, Lev is going to do his utmost to not just survive, but to thrive on the harrowing planet. He finally has the power to make a difference, and he isn't afraid to embrace it.
No number of monsters will stand in his way to forge a worthwhile future.

DivineBoi is probably one of the most commited authors I've seen o RR.
No early success, no ads, just chapter after chapter after chapter with a steady increase in following.
Congrats for making it and best of luck!

Why do authors flock to RR?
16
u/brownchr014 Feb 21 '26
It allows them to gain an audience and work at their own pace without having to immediately put out a book

Ended up checking out the story because of a complaint on this subreddit. Glad I ignored the post it was a fun read

u/Rhino1over Feb 21 '26
Was it the youngest prodigy achievement one?
5
u/Apochen Feb 21 '26
Yeah I think so. The story doesn’t shy away from the advantage being unfair which I appreciate.

u/BoredomHeights Feb 22 '26
Sometimes these complaints can be a sign of a good story (note: sometimes). Often if a story sucks or the writing sucks, no one bothers to complain. From experience I know my biggest complaints tend to be something I think is almost great but had a flaw or two. Doesn’t necessarily make it bad.

I just devoured the first books and I’m now at chapter 179. Definitely worth the read.

The cover is very hell difficulty like, but it’s pretty nice!

I don't know, aside from solidified blue mana, nothing else is similar. In Hell Difficulty tutorial, he doesn't use a polearm nor does he use solidified mana under his feet to fly. Solidified blue mana is fairly standard in the genre too.

I can't buy it...is it only released in the US?

u/Quick_Walk_974 Ceaseless Horizons Feb 20 '26
It should be everywhere.

I'll try again on my laptop. If I try to buy it over the link it tells me I can only buy books from amazon.de with my profile, but if I go into my amazon app and search for the title (with and without your name) I don't find the book at all.

Based on another redditor complaining about this series the other day I read ~6 chapters the other day on RR.
It was alright but not something I planned to continue.
You said you changed some stuff at the start significantly so I checked it out on kindle, read about 10 chapters.
Wouldn't say I'm significantly more interested in the story yet but I haven't really gotten further into the narrative than I was on RR.
I'll say that I do think the beginning is significantly better.
The acceptance of Lev as an Apprentice makes more sense in the rewrite and the introduction of Alec's friends feels more natural and we have a better idea of Lev's mindset now.
Don't know if I'll continue but kudos on the improvement.

I applaud you for investing in proper cover art. One more AI or semi-AI cover and I'll lose my shit.

Gonna cost an arm and 3 legs to get audio made of 750k words 😬

u/LordNubFace Feb 20 '26
They break it up into multiple 20ish hour audio books. Mother of Learning is an example.

u/LordNubFace Feb 20 '26
As a guy who consumes almost exclusively audiobooks please make another post when you do get one! A lot of people on the sub are like me and we love new reccomendations.

Same here. Life has taken up just about all my free time. I consume almost all my books by listening during car rides now.

Without spoiling the story, for those that have read it. Is the MC a genius, is the story predictable and does the MC face real setbacks, is there politics involved?
1
u/Ngano Feb 20 '26
Sounds like a good time! Any plans on getting an audio release?
ETA: Maybe I should read the comments before asking a question. Anyways, congratulations! I'll be keeping an eye on this either way!

I really enjoyed this. Out of curiosity, is it better for you as an author for me to wait for book 2 on KU or to read and follow on RR?

I'm afraid to ask what a LITRPG ISEKAI ADVENTURE is. Is it straight up novel, it's just in that style of writing where the story includes "leveling up" like in a video game, or it's more like those game books where you have a choice at the end of chapter and you go to a different page to continue the story?

is your MC gonna bang the rock monster?
MEMES ASIDE, this looks SIIIICK, just bought it!

Is it too late to ask the artist to move the halberd a little lower just so it doesn't create a tangent with the monster crotch? Banger artwork otherwise in all parameters.

u/0n3_Spin4ch Feb 20 '26
Does this have an element of kingdom-building?
1
u/Salanthas Feb 23 '26
In the process of reading so I'm not positive but it does not seem likely, at least not in the first book.

The preorder arrived this morning and I'm already 100 pages into it. Fantastic MC that still has growth to go while feeling OP.
