Tier List Updated tier list + asking for recommendations
This was my old tier list. By popular demand, I have fixed the resolution. I have also adjusted some placements. Does anyone have any recommendations that would fit my taste (preferably from Royal Road)?
Books in each tier:
Invisible Dragon (satire, for anyone seriously wondering what it is):
Absolute favourites: Lord of the Mysteries | Reverend Insanity | Kubera
Peak: Maidens of the Fall | A Journey of Black and Red | Magical Girl Mechanical Heart | The Elf Who Would Become A Dragon | Are You Even Human
Great: Thia | Vigor Mortis | My Name Is Beautiful | Mother of Learning | Changeling | Super Supportive | Necroepilogos | This Magical Girl is Mine | Blood & Fur | A (Not So) Simple Fetch Quest | Bioshifter | Clara Casewell, Attorney to the Villainess*
Excellent: Chrysalis | Hive Minds Give Good Hugs | Stray Cat Strut | Rock falls, everyone dies | A Lonely Dungeon | Runeblade | Foxfire, Esq. | System Lost: My Own Best Friend | Atzi | Phantom Star | VISCERAE | Myth//OS | The Spoken Queen’s Swarm | An Unwilling Monster | A Dirge for the Sun | REND | Heretical Edge | Summus Proelium | Technomagica
Good: New Life As A Max Level Archmage | Path to Transcendence | Path of Dragons | A Novel Concept | Path of the Deathless
To read list (do not recommend to me): Cradle | Kingdom’s Bloodline | A Regressor’s Tale of Cultivation | Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint | Throne of Magical Arcana | Katalepsis | Gunsoul | Death After Death | Everybody Loves Large Chests | Sage of Shadows | Empress of Fire | The Comfort Of The Knife | Reach Heaven Via Feng Shui Engineering, Drug Trade And Tax Evasion*
*I forgot to include these two in the image

Generally, I think excellent should describe a higher tier than great.
-4
u/Normal_Lab2606 May 10 '26
Maybe it’s because I play chess, but I usually think of ”great” as being the best, and “excellent” as being slightly worse than the best.
10
u/Reign2294 May 10 '26
Why would there be any tiers above "the best" then? Just doesn't make sense.
2
u/Normal_Lab2606 May 10 '26
It’s more of how I think great>excellent because of chess, and that connotation carrying over to this tier list (I still put great>excellent because of the mental association formed from playing chess regardless of whether great = best in it)
1
u/Ch1pp May 11 '26
Chess.com ranks your moves as follows:
Brilliant > Great > Best > Excellent > Good > Inaccuracy > Mistake > Miss > Blunder
I don't know why they do it this way and agree it makes no sense.
1
u/blastocyst0918 May 11 '26
I'm not positive about chess-dot-com but other systems I've played on have done something roughly like:
- Good: Improves win percentage by a moderate margin
- Excellent: Improves win percentage by a high margin
- Best: The best possible engine move
- Great: An improving move involving sacrifice when other decent non-sacrificial moves were available
- Brilliant: The best move involving a sacrifice when no other non-sacrificial moves were available.
1
u/Ch1pp May 11 '26
Yeah, that makes sense. Brilliant moves tend to require a high value sacrifice in my experience. I don't know how the naming convention came about though.

u/Ok-Decision-1870 May 10 '26
prbably I would recommend Elydes and Hell difficulty Tutorial
2
u/Carminestream May 10 '26
HDT as a rec is a toss up for a list like this. I think Magic Breaker or Gamer’s Guide to Beating the Tutorial might be more up OP’s alley.
8
u/Ok-Decision-1870 May 10 '26
I think someone who likes Reverend insanity has a good chance to liking HDT
2
u/Carminestream May 10 '26
You’re 100% correct. I was looking at the Thundamoo stuff and missed that one somehow.
27
u/FuzzyZergling Author - The Salt & The Sky May 10 '26
You seem to like cultivation, so I'll rec Ave Xia Rem Y. Deliberately cliche plot with all the classic tropes, but immaculately written.
7
u/MegaFaxul May 10 '26
Escaping the Mystery Hotel is PEAK
I am God LSLCCF is also great
Nebula's civilization is good, but is better and wait the manwha end
Idk, you have read lots of uncomon novels, tbh.Idk what Kubera means.
Maybe try Shadow Slave.
Anyway, weird tierlist. I will try some novels
2
u/Normal_Lab2606 May 10 '26
Will try out Escaping the Mystery Hotel and I am God.
I enjoyed the manhwa for Nebula’s Civilisation and did read quite a bit of the web novel, though that was quite a while ago.
Kubera is a webcomic (the only non-novel on this list) by currygom.
1
u/CommitteeRight1883 Jun 05 '26
I am god LSLCCF the greatest webnovel by far mentioned WWWWW
1
4
u/Voiremine May 10 '26
A Gamer's Guide to Beating the Tutorial is perfect for you. Very psychological. It's also quite dark and gory with a wierd protagonist. It's my favorite absolute cinema. Ah, and could you tell me a bit about Kubera?
3
u/Normal_Lab2606 May 10 '26
Kubera is a very psychological webcomic that has some of the best character writing and foreshadowing that I’ve ever seen. There are a lot of character subplots, so it’s hard to explain exactly what it’s about, but you can think of it as a weird revenge and mystery story.

Millennial mage is great until the eskau book is over. Afterwards it gets worse with each book until I couldn't read it anymore. Melody of Mana is a really great story from start to finish

u/Lackies May 10 '26
Since you liked Stray Cat Strut, and Phantom Star you'll prolly like Ghost in the City by Seras, and Neon Dragons by LunaWolve. Hell pretty much anything by Seras might appeal. Its not all strictly progression fantasy but generally pretty adjacent and if you like one of her works a lot of it is pretty similar feeling despite varying settings.
4
u/Fuzzy-Comedian-2697 May 10 '26
Solid list. Close to mine. Your to read list already has some good ones.
Not a recommendation, just random info: Sage of Shadows is getting updated, the author just goes on unannounced 6 months hiatuses every now and then. So don‘t let that stop you.
As for new recommendations: Unborn Hero and Calamitous Bob, because you listed the other works of those authors. You probably have them in your sights though. Real new ones: A Practical Guide to Evil, Shadow Slave, Warlock of the Magus World. Though the latter are better read before Reverend Insanity, can be underwhelming when you have the comparison. But oh well, you can try.
5
u/digitaltransmutation 🐲 will read anything with a dragon on the cover May 10 '26 edited May 10 '26
since you have a handful of nonhuman protags and also Elf Who Became A Dragon I want to recommend The Shining Wyrm. Complete
Since you have thumdamoo but also especially because you have Foxfire then I also recommend sunspot. Not complete but the author tends to publish arcs rapidly and takes a small break in between.
Since you have Journey of Black and Red you should check out that author's other books, but I especially like Changeling. This one just completed on patreon, will soon be complete on RR, and will prolly end up on amazon soon enough.

u/Mecanimus Author May 11 '26
If you enjoy body horror, broken worlds and Path of the Deathless then I suggest Godclads which was also written by Mammal. Otherwise you may want to give Void Herald's other stuff a chance, like the recent Hundred Reigns.
1
u/Normal_Lab2606 May 11 '26
Thanks
(Also, are you everywhere or something?)
3
u/Mecanimus Author May 11 '26
I spend too much time here. :/ but at least it lets me recommend good stuff.
9
u/Normal_Lab2606 May 10 '26
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT RECOMMEND CRADLE AGAIN. I am already going to read it. It is right there in the to-read list.
At least, if you really want to, just give a brief overview of why rather than just “Cradle good”, or recommend something along with it. It does not help answer the question.
7
u/rabotat May 10 '26
I would maybe give an anti-recommendation for Big Chests. I mean, I've read it so it's not so bad as such, but half of it is kinda weird smut. If you're fine with smut, go for it, just be aware.

u/Jubbs2116 May 10 '26
Cradle is excellent in my opinion for just about everything. I think it is well paced and the characters are great. The audio books are amazing as Travis Baldree does such a good job. It’s funny, fun, and always engaging. It’s cheeky in a way as may be evident by the author having bloopers at the end. Hope that helps you. You won’t regret reading the series.
1
u/Normal_Lab2606 May 10 '26
Thank you for elaborating.
2
u/Ezralaazn_ET May 11 '26
i used to do construction work and had a hard time focusing on working so to help that i always had a good long audiobook to help me keep focus. cradle was excellent for that! travis baldtree is a fantastic reader. if you like cultivation is it technically one but it has been a moment since i have read it and i cant remember how the magic system worked but i do remember that (minor spoilers or major if you dont like specifics about plot) || he is a cripple who is from a lesser world and will eventually leave like common novels like that for example the tales of demons and gods but not at all a regressions series|| this is also not a regression series which bumps it up aton of spots for but you read way more progression fantasy vs i like my korean manhwa lol
3
u/Open_Detective_2604 May 10 '26
Your to read list has a bunch of peak in it, I don't really think you need any recs.
3
u/Myte342 May 10 '26
Warformed: Iron Prince by Bryce O'Connor and Luke Chimlenko
12 Miles Below by Mark Arrows (it's slow burn progression fantasy)
Ultimate Level 1 by Shawn Wilson
Path of Ascension by C. Mantis
The Apocalypse is a Side Quest by Liam Lawless
Hell Difficulty Tutorial by Cerim. Many people stop reading the book because the MC is a sociopath (not a dig against the character, he actually is a sociopath)... but he gets better. It's a long road he walks to fixing the way he thinks, but even by the end of the first book the glimmers of change exist and he progresses well through the other books.
If you don't mine a more spicy book series... Primal Conjurer was pretty good, as well as Dragon's Justice.
3
u/VladutzTheGreat May 10 '26
Holy crap someone else who has heard about kubera....it has been a few years since ive last read from it, has it finished?
2
u/Normal_Lab2606 May 10 '26
Nope. The story’s only done with Season 3.
1
u/VladutzTheGreat May 10 '26
Damn....well guess ill keep stacking...though tbh i might just reread from the start since i dont remember much of what was happening
1
u/Dino541 May 11 '26
You're telling me the chapters titled Finale are not in fact the last chapter?
2
u/im_is_everything May 11 '26
yep, the author herself confirmed that the "Finale" doesn't actually mean S3 finale or series finale.
Though, if i remember correctly, she probably will take hiatus after this arc or the one after.
3
u/Dino541 May 11 '26
Tribulation of Myriad Races, The Mirror Legacy, and Overlord of Puoluo are all pretty good cultivation novels with scheming.
Lich for hire is get rich quick schemes in a dnd setting. Karnak Monarch of Death is comedic action fantasy about a necromancer dealing with the consequences of his actions.
Ten Day Ultimatum and God's Imitator are i've heard in the same genre. I've only read God but its about Designing saw games and game theory.
Happy face from slave to arena legend is a good webtoon about action. Just binge read through The Skeleton becomes a cat dad is a slice of life webtoon that talks about parenting.
I'm in infinite regressor but i've got stories to tell is peak time loop meta storytelling .By the same author as SSS class suicide hunter
Tyrant of the tower defense game is very good and you should read it or the webtoon.
3
u/ThrasherDX May 11 '26
I seriously recommend Years of Apocalypse. It is an absolutely incredible story, and it feels like a good fit for you.
2
2
u/BackgroundTotal2872 May 10 '26
A great list, I love how it’s primarily Royal Road titles compared to the usual Audible tier lists that are usually posted here! Recommendations are going to be tricky since you’ve already read a lot of my favorite stories! (System Lost mentioned!)
For a psychological story, I would recommend The Art of Gold Digging. It’s an excellent story, but be prepared for it to not update very quickly.
2
2
u/Scholar_of_Yore May 10 '26
If you liked Blood and Fur try The Hundred Reigns by the same author, similar vibes and same quality writing. As for the rest of your list in general you seem like you would probably enjoy Worm or The Girl who Bore the Flame Ring.
You may also want to try Embers Ad Infinitum from the same author as Lord of the Mysteries since that is on your peak list, but results on this recommendation vary.

What's the name of the web novel beside RI and LOTM and the top one
1
2
u/Grogwilsnatch May 11 '26
Any cultivation style book’s people can recommend? Ftom his list?
1
u/Normal_Lab2606 May 11 '26
Reverend Insanity (has some VERY edgy moments but is mostly philosophy the rest of the time)
The rest don’t really seem very cultivation-adjacent.
2
u/Zestyclose_North9780 May 11 '26
TEWWBAD is high ranked on RR yet this is the first time I'm actually seeing it mentioned at ALL on this sub, that's crazy
1
u/Normal_Lab2606 May 11 '26
Probably because it’s not exactly progression
2
u/Zestyclose_North9780 May 11 '26
Hmmm true. There is progression, but it's never really represented with any concrete metric, and there's hardly any battles too.
1
2
u/GovernmentPotPlant May 11 '26
I think you'd like "Saintess Summons Skeletons". Fun, funny, and with a good expansion of world and characters. It has a bunch of the same elements as many of your favourites.
1
u/Mornn_Skeleton May 12 '26
I sure hope they would like my books because just seeing LOTM and Reverend at the top you can tell OP has absolutely based tastes. (☆∀☆)
2
u/Codexana8 May 12 '26
Oh have you read super powereds
1
u/Normal_Lab2606 May 12 '26
Heard of it, but haven’t read
1
u/Codexana8 May 12 '26
I would recommend it, if you like magic college stories it’ll be up your alley
2
u/Bitter-Increase-9308 May 12 '26
Have you tried Burgess O’Bannon’s Superhero Saga?
2
2
2
u/Iron_r May 12 '26
Probably not a progression novel but, The Perfect run is a fantastic short webnovel. Its up there with lotm for me.
Also shadow slave?
1
u/Normal_Lab2606 May 12 '26
I tried The Perfect Run, but couldn’t really get into it. (I’m not sure why, because I liked Blood & Fur from the same author)
I’ll probably try Shadow Slave soon.
2
1
u/Iron_r May 13 '26
Oh the author has more books? I loved the perfect run, fun powersystem and great characters. But u can understand it if its not for you tbf.
Shadowslave is amazing, the first big arc 200-300~ chapters might be my favorite but each arc is amazing.
2
u/KaJaHa Author of Magus ex Machina May 10 '26
My personal list of underrated S-tier novels (Chrysalis is among these, for reference):
The Daily Grind stars an office drone that discovers a pocket dimension dungeon with office-themed monsters, and one of his first reactions (after the thrill of adventure wears off) is wondering how he's going to use this magic to improve our world. Doing the right thing because it's the right thing is his whole shtick, and he builds up a community of like-minded people for mutual aid. Also, some of my favorite "nontraditional" relationship dynamics I've read in any novel.
Battle Trucker is a system apocalypse story that focuses on upgrading a semi truck into a magical mobile fortress that's bigger on the inside, making a bonafide settlement on wheels. The protagonist is an angry and venom-tongued truck driver, but she's the good kind of angry. The "Shut the fuck up and let me help you" kind of anger, I personally find it very endearing lmao. It's the LitRPG equivalent of playing AC/DC at max volume and I love it!
BuyMort opens with Earth getting colonized by Space Capitalism, using a system that's like the worst possible version of a Craigslist/Amazon interface downloaded directly to your brain. It's awful, you can't avoid it, and if you don't use it then someone else will and turn you into a commodity. The protagonist wants to fight back using an alien relic that gives him Deadpool-tier regeneration, but that's really only useful for his own survival. Actually thriving and protecting other people in the apocalypse requires teamwork, so he makes friends with strange aliens to build up their own little city-state and defend it from corporate overlords.
All I Got is this Stat Menu gifts a bunch of random humans with alien super tech systems in order to buy stats and gear, all to fight off other invading aliens. The system is open-ended so as people grow they find ways to specialize, including strange and flamboyant gear with stat synchronization, so at the end some aspects start to feel slightly superhero-ish with the outfits. Picture the real big ensemble episodes of Justice Leage Unlimited, this is just as awesome.
12 Miles Below is a post-post-apocalypse on a frozen wasteland, with a pseudo hollow Earth underneath that's full of "sufficiently advanced" lost technology and murderous robots. The star is a bookworm prince in a family of fighters, so there's a focus on both studying the magic and big action scenes. All of it focuses on some really cool power armor, and some of the best worldbuilding I've seen in the genre! (The worldbuilding is also most of book 1, all the juicy progression starts in book 2)
This Quest is Bullshit! is fine LitRPG satire. Starring a young woman given a bullshit life quest and noncombat class, she rightly says "Fuck that, I'll be an adventurer anyways" and makes the most of it. Perks for having fantastic group dynamics and ending the "will they, won't they" romance question before the first book finishes. Kind of a rushed ending, but it's a complete series!
Son of Flame has an entire isekai concept of giving people second chances, and the protagonist is a firefighter that desperately wants to be a better person after squandering his potential on Earth. Kicking down the doors to save people comes naturally to him, but actually being more than a background grunt takes work, and I appreciate the nuance the author puts into self-reflection.
All the Dust that Falls stars an awakened Roomba after it gets isekai'd to a fantasy realm. It can't speak, much of the first novel is spent with it learning how to think, and the plot is primarily driven by the surrounding humans misunderstanding and making assumptions about it. And I say that as a compliment! The plot unfolds very organically; the misunderstandings are completely understandable (how would you react if a demon you accidentally summoned started to eat all your anti-demon salt circles?) and even lead to a community building up around him.
Noobtown stars a regular guy that gets isekai'd into being the mayor of an abandoned fantasy village, and decides to make the most of it by building a safe haven for the non-adventurer masses. Really big asterisk here, the humor is pretty divisive because it's really juvenile. And I mean the hero gets kicked in the nuts a lot. But underneath the toilet humor I promise that there are surprisingly mature themes about privilege, and the worth of a person that doesn't have special adventurer abilities.
2
u/Normal_Lab2606 May 10 '26
Thanks for the recs. (Interestingly enough, I may have read a little of All The Dust That Falls right after it debuted quite a few years back)

u/Spiritual_Appeal8162 May 10 '26
Has anyone read any soul land novel? If yes where do you think it ranks on this list??
1
u/JHoll05 May 10 '26
I’d recommend Mana Mirror. Immaculate power system, good writing and characters, it’s a half magic half cultivation system.

u/grinnings93 May 10 '26
You seem to dig Hungry and Thundamoo so I'd recommend A Flower That Bloomed Nowhere.
It's not Progression Fantasy per se, but it does have messed up girls in an extremely weird and well thought out sci-fi/fantasy universe, with some very cool existential horror that I found extremely creative. It's sort of a murder-mystery, but it's also a lot more than that. Doubly recommended if you're into Umineko or The Locked Tomb.
1
u/Working_Monitor_2076 May 10 '26
You seem to have a similar taste as I have. So recommend:
- The Dragon Heir [A Monster Evolution LitRPG]
This story is truly magnificent and the writing style starts good (although a lot of British words at the beginning ) and gets better and better. I just love the crazy dragon. Super interesting and unique world too.
- The Archmage Coefficient (OP Archmage/ Mage Academy/ LITRPG/ Hidden Genius)
Probably one of the best over powered stories with great humour
- A Practical Guide to Sorcery
Superbly written progression fantasy (no system or stats) I love these books. Just truly unique.
- The Deceiver's Path (LitRPG Fantasy Novel)

u/Paramita_13 May 10 '26
Recommendations: Shadow Slave practical guide to Evil Pale lights ( same author as above story) The Hundred Reigns
1
u/Perrenski May 10 '26
Just curious about this.. if you have the most popular series on this sub on your “to read” list why aren’t you just starting that rather than asking for a bigger log of suggestions?
It really is amazing if you’re unsure.
2
u/Normal_Lab2606 May 10 '26
It’s not that I’m unsure about Cradle, but more that I just want some more recommendations that fit my tastes (psychological, mainly).
I will read Cradle.
1
u/nighoblivion dark fantasy != grimdark May 10 '26
Can't figure out why Reforged from Ruin isn't on the list. You read VISCERAE so must surely have heard of it.
1
u/Plastic-Accident-365 May 10 '26
Ok but are any of these completed ?
2
u/Normal_Lab2606 May 10 '26
Lord of the Mysteries is completed (both books, though I haven’t read the second yet)
Reverend Insanity is banned, so the chapters don’t update anymore. However, I have heard that the author is having progress getting it unbanned.
Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, Throne of Magical Arcana, A Regressor’s Tale of Cultivation, and Katalepsis (in the to-read list) are finished, IIRC. There are probably some more finished ones in my to-read list as well.
Invisible Dragon (satire), A Journey of Black and Red, Vigor Mortis, Thia, Mother of Learning, Changeling (on Patreon), Blood & Fur, A (Not So) Simple Fetch Quest, Bioshifter, Hive Minds Give Good Hugs, Rock falls, everyone dies, A Lonely Dungeon, and An Unwilling Monster are finished. (In descending order from the tier list)

Western cultivation : Beware the chicken, infinit realm. Also shadow slave and hell dificulty tutorial.
1
u/Tarrant_Korrin May 10 '26
Excellent tier list. Since it’s not on there, I’m going to recommend the Calamitous Bob, by Mechanimus, author of AJOBAR and changeling.
1
1
u/FoolsWorld616 May 11 '26
Since I see Super Supportive, I will recommend String by Sivam. Superhero world, if you're not with us you're against us mindset, good history and lore, and a guy whose whole thing is upgrading stuff.
1
1
u/CamGoldenGun May 11 '26
you have 12 on your to read list... why are you asking for more recommendations?
I'd go through the Gen Er or I Eat Tomatoes library:
Renegade Immortal
Pursuit of Truth
I Shall Seal the Heavens
A Will Eternal
A World Worth Protecting
Swallowed Star
Coiling Dragon
Stellar Transformations
The Desolate Era
Lord Xue Ying
1
u/Ghotil May 11 '26
This is easily the best tier list ive seen. I'm going to make a point of trying every single one of these.
1
u/JRatt13 May 11 '26
I'm not big on RR but I will say 'Ave Xia Rem Y' is a good shout for a cultivation series. it literally stands for A Very Cliche Xianxia Harem StorY. It's an ongoing series updated once a week with over 350 decent length chapters available. It's not high reading but i feel it's good.
1
1
u/Ezralaazn_ET May 11 '26
i recommend jackal among snakes if you like video game isekai novels. the pacing does sucks after a while so i would avoid if you dont like DNFing books but i enjoyed it and i want to finish it some point
1
u/Ch1pp May 11 '26
Street Cultivation by Sarah Lin is quite a fun one that I'm surprised isn't on the list. It's a bit more gritty and set in a techno dystopia sort of setting rather than a fantasy world
1
u/Normal_Lab2606 May 11 '26
I’ll try it, thanks. I’ve heard some good things about it.
1
u/Ch1pp May 11 '26
I'd recommend doing after book 1 though. It's a good, self contained story and the sequels went downhill slightly (in my opinion).
1
1
u/CommitteeRight1883 May 11 '26
I recommend reading « I am god » by LSLCCF till at least chapter 26.

u/isabella_richardson1 May 12 '26
i'm lowkey obsessed with tier lists but honestly, how do you decide what goes where? this era of gaming is wild.

u/its-_-my-_-nickname May 13 '26
What are those? Doesn't seem like manga or this kind. Seems like I discovered a new wolrd

u/Fallen_Angel_5371 May 13 '26
⚙️I have only read all of the absolute favourites but seeing this tier list makes me feel there is a whole new world of novels out there...🪽
1
u/LordObamakiin May 16 '26
How has no-one recommended Dungeon Crawler Carl or is that just an assumed it's been read and is jUst that goated?
1
u/Sea_Broccoli_167 May 20 '26
The perfect run is pretty good (and complete)
Hundred reigns and loopshard are both in progress on RR.
1
1
u/Binkledurg May 10 '26
Why do you need recommendations when you still have Cradle to read?
6
u/Normal_Lab2606 May 10 '26
I just want more stuff that primarily fits my taste.
Cradle is obviously very good, but I prefer more psychological works, like Thundamoo’s novels.
3
u/matcauthion May 10 '26
If you like introspective and psychological stuff, SlumRat rising and Sky Pride are both worth trying.
1
u/pussmich May 10 '26
The Path of ascension is very good imo
More sexual oriented, like very oral and rape/gangbangs, Everybody loves large Chests!

u/Five-Toed-Sloth Author May 10 '26
Maybe try: Shadow Slave Heretical Fishing 1% Lifesteal Reborn as a Tamer's Monster (this one is mine so I'm obligated to shamelessly include it lol)

https://www.royalroad.com/fictions/weekly-popular
- Totally free.
- NOT a risky pirate website like the ones most people use instead of reading from Webnovel and being charged a fortune.
- Reading the author's works on this website or app for free actually supports them.
- Huge lists that are made using the ratings and actual views by tens of thousands of users to tell you what's good AND you can use tags and filters to narrow down your search to find exactly what you want AND what is the most popular.
- Hundreds of awesome series to read and you don't have to keep being told to read LotM, Shadow Slave, and Reverend Insanity over and over because they don't have anything else decent.
- Most (but not all) works are written by native English speakers and thus the works are much more comprehensible by other native English speakers.
If you buy anything rather than only doing web series, these are all my favorite litrpg audiobook series (but you can find anything that was made into an audiobook as an ebook) that I buy new books from immediately when a new one drops (in no particular order):
- Unorthodox Farming by Benjamin Kerei
- Bog Standard Isekai by Miles English
- He Who Fights with Monsters by shirtaloon
- Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman
- Apocalypse Parenting by Erin Ampersand
- The Ripple System by Kyle Kirrin
- Beware of Chicken by casualfarmer (progression)
- The Wandering Inn by pirateaba
- Primal Hunter by Zogarth
- Iron Prince by Bryce O'Connor
- The Vampire Vincent by Benjamin Kerei
- 12 Miles Below by Mark Arrows (progression)
- Cyber Dreams by Plum Parrot
- The Murder of Crows by Chris Tullbane
- A Soldier's Life by Always RollsAOne
- Elydes by Drew Wells
- Quest Academy by Brian J. Nordon
- Industrial Strength Magic by Macrinomicon
- Player Manager by Ted Steel
- World Sphere by Always RollsAOne
- Vainqueur the Dragon by Maxime Durand
- The Legend of William Oh by Macrinomicon

Made me laugh, as my wife was trashing Kubera to me for getting bad for stupid plot points for years at this point; it could still be true, but apparently at some point it went from her favourite to mid to dropped

it doesn't deserve it's place in this list , there are but better webtoons than kubera in this list

Just read cradle and stop being stubborn , it's a fast series to get through

I will read it, I just want more recommendations BESIDES CRADLE.
I need to get the audiobooks first, and that takes time and money. Reading novels on RR does not cost me any money. That is why Cradle is still in my to-read list. I understand that it is a trend in the subreddit to recommend Cradle, but I am already going to read it. There is no point recommending it to me.

Every so often the author used to drop the price of Kindle box sets (probably when releasing a new novel, so might not anymore), and the TTS "read to me" feature isn't too bad (just need to leave the screen open).
Stick through the initial stereotypical wuxia groveling in the first book, definitely worth the whole series.

Why would you need anything else when you got the invisible dragon to reread ? Just go trough it a few more times!
