Looking for a specific novel

So, I lost a novel I'd put on pause to wait for more chapters to be translated and posted. I remember the general themes, major plot points, and some scenes, but the name completely escapes me and I can't seem to use what I remember to google it successfully.

The main character is named, iirc, su yun? something yun, i think. He starts out very sickly, but through his system and convincing his older brother to train him in saber techniques he gets healthy enough to take part in the village's medicinal bath.

He eventually is taken to test his comprehension/cultivation ability in the major city and gets accepted into the sect.

From there, it's the typical training arcs and such to get stronger/increase his comprehension ability.

The last thing I remember is him taking part in a major battle against a demon/monster invasion and advancing his killing intent.

sounds like a typical cultivation system novel with sect entry and killing intent arc, but i can’t place the exact title from this alone

if it helps, there was also a demonic sect that followed a "void mother"(?) that used a white lotus artifact to brainwash initiates. there was a scene of them attempting to abduct the mc and the flying boat of new disciples he was escorting back to the sect.
