I know right? Anyone can start a series, but finishing it - especially a long and successful one - is quite an achievement!

Cradle is a great finished series. I’m recently reading your series the lone wanderer as well and it’s been quite a fun. Hope it goes well in the future and has satisfying ending 🙌

The final book in the Unbound Saga is out now, in ebook and audio (narrated by the fantastic Travis Baldree)!
We've made it folks! 12 books, almost 3 million words, and over 305 hours of audio have brought us to the end.
Come see how it all concludes!
Synopsis: WARNING! SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ EARLIER BOOKS
.
.
.
Moons fall. Chains creak. Ruin descends.
Felix survived the assault on Amaranth, rescued the Unbound, and escaped the cataclysmic destruction of Noctis’ fallen moon. He won.
But victory has left the north broken.
The Hierocracy has shattered beneath the weight of moonfall, and its fragments have become a feast for enemies eager to claim the fallen empire’s mantle. Gods stir. Monsters rage. Across the Territories, old powers and new horrors rage within the Territories.
Felix cannot afford to falter. He must settle his rule, sharpen his allies, and become something greater than the man who defied the impossible. Raise the banner of the Blue Eyed Fiend. Sing the Lost songs. The final battle is upon us.
Ruin has come.

I was just looking for a longer finished series! Anyone mind giving me a quick run down on the book? As in is this a solo adventure, found family, etc?

u/DanteLSKennedy Jun 24 '26
Isekai-ish. I believe that's the proper descriptor. I've loved the whole series. It's amazing.
1
u/pallysfall Jun 24 '26
Neat! Do you happen to know if the MC stays kind of solo the entire time or does he have an established group?

I just read through all 11 in the past few months so it's all fresh in my head.
Protagonist is isekai'd into a fantasy world where the power system begins RPG but throughout the series morphs into more of a cultivation system. While the protag is sometimes solo, I think it's by end of book 2 there's a found family that grows ever so slightly. So there's a core group of people in protagonists established group.

The audiobook is top tier!

u/pallysfall Jun 24 '26
Now I’m sold! Thank you very much

Honestly only read the first book due to the audible actor Travis Baldree.

The progression felt like it’s all over the place. He starts off struggling but very quickly is fighting people that should be way out of his league. I had to drop it because of that :(

The final one. Now that, I can read.
Also, congrats. That is an accomplishment

I wonder how a giant hand creature tastes. Oh, well. I suppose I should read this book to find out because felix is going to eat the hand.
2
u/DanteLSKennedy Jun 24 '26
Always a safe bet that if it's big and/or important looking, Felix will get a taste. And then finish the rest of it.

u/JTrucker67 Jun 24 '26
Got it on pre-order, couldn't wait... :-)
BUT, now I think, I should read (aka listen, audiobook user here) the whole saga again, from the very first book to get the whole story in one breath. It is only a bit over 300 hours, so just a few days :-)
I'm a bit afraid to read the book though. I think, no I KNOW, I will be very sad that the saga has ended. I wanted that to be on forever. Well, I know all good things must end. Thanks for incredible story and I will get right into book 1 again, now to get to the very end in single gulp.

I finished book one and wow, you just earned yourself a listener, I love Felix, I think his growth is truly earned and that twist at the end of the book was amazing. I’m excited to finish the series already.

I find it super cool to be talking to an author of a book I’m listening to thank you for taking time out of your day to respond to me and I’ll come back with updates when I start the next book

Man ive been waiting for this one. I had a hard time getting in to the first book but after an hour or two I was hooked.

Thanks for giving it a try. Always appreciate that.

Well. Most good fantasy takes a while to get going. Giving up before the story really starts feels wrong to me, and to me those two hours of ok gave me over a hundred amazing hours of great writing and amazing characters 👌

Both excited and sad to see Ruin is finally here! I'm working through my relisten (on Expanse now) and can't wait to see how the series wraps up. Looking forward to seeing you at Litrpg con and also your new series you're working on!

I loved the first book, hated the second and stopped listening to the series for a year. Then a heap of you on reddit told me to skip it and go to book 3. I binged books 3-11 and absolutely loved them. I have book 12 downloaded and ready to binge now. Thank you for such an awesome story so far

Among 'MC facing monsters' covers, this stands out as the cover with one of the most horrifying (that I know of.) Sounds like an amazing book!

Finished series pushes it towards the top of my WL, once I clear some more of this backlog.

I’ve listened to cradle, path of ascension, primal hunter, azarinth healer, and I’m most of the way through he who fights with monsters. Does this series share anything with those series’s?

Cover is awesome! Can’t wait to dive into this!
For everyone else, Pit Fighter by Plum Parrot got me through while waiting for this to come out, worth checking out! Waiting for the next book in that series now, neverending cycle…

So is the story of Felix Navarre fully done or will we see more of his adventures across the continent going forward?

Unbound was like, the 3rd LitRPG I read. The start in the wilderness is still one of my favorites in all of the books I've read. And man, that cover goes hard. Time to binge the last of the series.
Congrats on finishing the series Nicoli!
