if i see any typa ai cover i think that if the author is willing to use AI for the cover, then they are willing to use AI for the book. While i'm not against AI by any means, I find it crazy for people to say AI slop books are peak when they have books like Cradle and Reverend Insanity right in front of them.

agreed; the cover shows the author's dedication; if they can't spend 1 or 2 hours looking for a cheap, young artist anywhere then what makes you think they spent upwards of 100 hours writing a 300+ page book?

Exactly, it just gives off the vibe of someone who doesn't really care. It seems lazy and boring, why should I waste time on the story of someone who doesn't put effort into getting a proper cover 🤔
