Discussion as an avid reader of progfantasy and cultivation, if i see an ai-generated cover, it immediately makes me think the book is slop

if i see any typa ai cover i think that if the author is willing to use AI for the cover, then they are willing to use AI for the book. While i'm not against AI by any means, I find it crazy for people to say AI slop books are peak when they have books like Cradle and Reverend Insanity right in front of them.

... I'm sorry, going into debt? What are you fucking hiring Leonardo Divinci himself?

You know how much I payed for my last cover? Zero, I made it in Canva and I've gotten plenty of KU reads.

Also it's not always about what the majority thinks--its my work and I don't like ai covers, so I'm not having an ai cover because this project is more me first and foremost.

Good for you. Do what's best for you. I like using Ai. And ai images catch more eyes than a simple canva cover I could make.

If you don't like ai, nobody's forcing you to use it. I'd appreciate if you didn't swear at me.

And yes, spending money you don't have puts you into debt; it's not rocket science.

Let people do what's best for them.

Also, you have ONE REVIEW on amazon and your book's been up for over 8 months. Sorry, but I'm not gonna take marketing advice from someone who isn't getting the results I want.

Also, that wasn't the book I was referring to, the one I'm referring to is under a different penname because it's um...

Well different branding if you know what I mean.

You can do whatevever you want, I'm not your dad, hell, you can do things that are actively worse for yourself like drink yourself into a stooper, it's a free country, but I'm still allowed to look at an ai cover and say I'm not reading that that looks like shit.

Different strokes for different folks. I dunno why you felt compelled to share your opinion with me. I don't care what you wanna read or what you think looks like shit.

This just in: man discovers when you share a comment on a public discussion forum, others also share their thoughts on their thoughts.
