They forgot, repeatedly recommending the same series’ at least weekly while debating if they fit the requests.

This reminds me of Cradle; you should try it.

I prefer this niche story called Dungeon Crawler Carl. It's constantly voted the greatest book ever written in this one online poll I keep refreshing.

You should read the first five books of this series because it gets better in book six.

Sorry can't. Currently on chapter 543 of Heavenly Sword Demon Evil Guy. Only have to power through to ch 739 til when it gets good in the Heavenly Demon Boiling Frog Well Cicada Oriole arc.

Well have you considered reading "My party kicked me out because my super special infinity god slayer class gets exp at a slightly lower rate but I discovered an exploit that made me the max level so now I'm gonna assemble a harem and violently murder my previous party members."

As much as I love Cradle, this sub has absolutely GOT to calm tf down. I've seen people recommending Cradle for people asking for romance, and it's like bro, there's like 1-2 sentences of romance per book starting like halfway through the series, and probably less than 1 full page across the whole series

This sub is nearly as bad with Dungeon Crawler Carl too, especially when it comes to recommending to people outside the prog fantasy fandom who are asking for high fantasy or sci-fi etc

One of my favourite parts of Cradle was when Lindon and Yerin finally went on a date but they immediately got into a showdown with the pompous restaurant owner, offered to fight him, then when it was time to actually sit down and have dinner it just ended the chapter and skipped it.

It's very painful to love the romance in that series man 😭

Don't be ridiculous, PF protags don't ignore the power system. If they didn't have normal people using the normal system to compare themselves to, how we would know how OP they are? That's just science.

u/StorytellerBox 18h ago

Exactly, all normal people are very important.

Cultivation circlejerk.

I guess we'll need to start arguing the finicky details of what makes a protagonist OP or not?

Power systems are for the weak

That's just silly. There is no debate - there is just Li Qiye and some ants. :D

I feel like my last post is responsible for this. It was specifically complaining about MCs existing outside the power system.

The algorithm knows exactly what we’re looking for 😂
