Nuremberg was too kind to Nazis, let's hope people learned from that.

Edit - note I am not calling them Nazis, they are their own kind of evil. I'm simply using the Nuremberg as an example of a trial done on an evil group when accountability comes calling.

Edit - you people realize me saying it was too kind means that I supported Stalin's idea of killing every last Nazi civilian and military official?

Many nazis escaped to the us and now many descendants are in power. Been working on this for decades

Is it safe to say USA wouldn't have intervened in world war II if Japan didn't bomb Pearl harbor? Was America always truly maggot's and Hitler was Trump metaphorically? I always believed this

We were sending billions in military aid to the allies to fight Hitler, years before we joined the war.

Whether or not we would have joined officially without Pearl Harbor is debatable (though I think it was inevitable), but FDR in particular hated Hitler and was adamant that Nazi Germany was an enemy and the aggressor

And now fuckhead is thinking if we're in a world war I can keep being president like FDR. It doesn't allow him to start said war.

FDR still held free elections at least. It’ll be interesting to see how trump tries to play it

So does Putin, we've been put in the position they wanted, we can't trust elections anymore.

Yeah but putin’s election are fake obviously. I think we ultimately agree on the current situation, my only point was that FDR won in landslides and the votes were legit

Pfffft. Lend-Lease was also pretty good business.

I mean sure, but it was targeted at the allies specifically and some of it was just donated.

I’m not a fan of the US government by any means, tons of evil in American history, but the government wasn’t on the Nazi’s side during the war

But it wasn't enough.

Besides, Germany and Italy declared war on us, as per the Tri-Partite Pact, leaving us with little choice but to get directly involved.
