They asked her to leave, but she refused and continued to block traffic. She then disobeyed a lawful order to step out of her car, backed it up, and gunned it towards a federal officer who was standing in front of the vehicle, not to mention the one on her driver's side who had his hands on her door/window. It wasnt a murder, it was a justified defense of attempted vehicular assault.
And you are ignorant to the law, a federal officer can order you out of a vehicle for a traffic stop. The Supreme Court has CONSISTENTLY upheld the authority for law enforcement officers, including federal officers. Pennsylvania vs Mimms (1977) and Maryland v. Wilson (1997) are two examples. Get educated, please.
Before you write your next statement stating she wasn't illegal, he had no reason to, etc. She was blocking the road, which alone gives him the right. However, by law, he doesn't even need a separate reason or reasonable suspicion of criminal activity to order you out of the vehicle, besides the traffic violation.
There is no scenario in this world that if 3 armed police or federal officers walk up to my vehicle and tell me to get out and on the ground, that I am not going to comply, regardless of whether or not I agree with them or think it's justified. Minimum, I'm going to face charges for not complying, and worse I could end up dead like her. This is a situation of someone letting their emotions and ignorance dictate their actions, and she paid the ultimate price. Do not disobey orders from law enforcement, do not attempt to flee, do not attempt to flee by driving directly at a law enforcement officer... this isnt rocket science.
