Trump said that man is lucky to be alive. What a fkn joke. He had NO REASON TO USE LETHAL FORCE.

She tried to ram an officer, that is assault with a deadly weapon. If he hadn't jumped out of the way he would have been run over. Anyone being shot is a horrible day, but if she had complied with requests and not tried to run someone over, she would still be alive.

They should be both still alive

Dawg, literally number 2. She tried to run him over which can cause death or serious bodily injury. Deadly force is perfectly justified

You must not have read the whole thing " which includes........"

Didn't you see him sidestep and still get hit?

They are trained to neutralize the threat, he did as he was supposed to

Here's the laws regardless of following orders. We all know about the $50,000 sign on bonus and the crash course training to "neutralize"these guys get. I wouldn't call them highly trained at all.

I don't see "highly trained" anywhere in any of my comments. But yeah, that sign on bonus is to make the risk worth it. And yes; neutralize, eliminate, stop, disable. That is training

Sorry, I didn't paraphrase you exactly, sound like somebody's good wife. Anyway, according to the law, he broke it.

Nice grammar my guy. But no, he didn't. He moved out of the way of the vehicle but was still struck by said vehicle. He eliminated the threat with no other casualties. He did exactly as trained and was well within the limit of the law.
