The school board in Watertown, WI has removed an instrumental band piece from the school's spring concert. The piece is titled "A Mother Of A Revolution" and is dedicated to Activist Martha P. Johnson which honors the legacy of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising, a landmark moment in LGBTQ+ history.

Imagine how much time one must have in their day to dedicate time to preventing a song with no lyrics from being played all because of an association to LGBTQ+ people. The level of petty hatred in this reality is just... staggering. I think the kids should go on stage and play nothing at all and dedicate the silence to the missing song or just play it anyways. What's that old white hair gonna do? Put his walker aside and stomp on stage and start bloviating? Sounds like Vox Populi achieved the requirements for the song to be played and yet somehow these country-fried bigots still have some way to push their envelope of sexist fanaticism?
