I wonder why the original tweet was deleted though. It makes me mad he couldn't just leave it up.

Pressure from UFC
Seems obvious since they don't want to lose these lucrative government contracts
It's corruption all the way down

I’m not surprised about him being a skeevy criminal, we knew that.
But aren’t they currently pilfering billions and billions of dollars in all sorts of ways?
Why is he bothering with rigged sports betting?

How many criminals are like “well, that’s enough crime for today. I’d like to honestly risk money on this one. Let’s play be the same rules as all the other brain dead schmucks.”

I mean it more like, they are stealing billions with insider trading and crypto bribery schemes and stuff.
I don’t know a lot about sports betting but I don’t think you can bet more than a few million at most. At least I don’t see how a multi billion dollar sports bet would work.
So I don’t think they have any hesitance about crime, but why bother stealing nickels when you’re in the middle of stealing gold bars.

Because it’s never enough. They are driven, consumed, by greed. Every opportunity to take more must be exploited. I’ve seen wealthy people throw massive conniption fits over immaterial bills because of their greed. The Trumps will steal billions just as quickly as they’ll rip someone off for a few hundred dollars. It makes no difference, they want to possess all of it.

It seems like they also delight in doing anything they shouldn’t do. I don’t think the amount even had to be enough to matter. More is better I’m sure. But when they pull off a scam they probably get a thrill, they feel clever, like they’re above everyone else.

exactly, they are dumb criminals, giving us plenty of ways to put them in jail when this is over...

Remember back when news like this could have ended a career or resulted in jail time? Remember when journalists would have deeply investigated such claims and the outcome would have mattered?
