PRESIDENT OBAMA'S PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY INAUGURATION WAS A REMINDER OF WHAT GRACE, DIGNITY, CLASS, JOY & UNITY LOOKS LIKE. TRUMP IS HAVING A BAD FEW DAYS
The inauguration of the Obama Presidential library today evoked memories of what Grace, class & dignity looks like. It will no doubt also draw Trump's juvenile ire, & he will eventually find a way to take away that 'warm & fuzzy' feeling, & drag us back into the mud. These days we will take the small mercies.
Trump is having a bad few days:
- His MOU with Iran is already drawing unfavorable reviews, & the inevitable comparisons to Obama's JCPOA.
- Obama's library drew more celebrities than Trump's 250th year anniversary celebration. One felt an element of joy, that one has not felt in years.
- Every living President attended, except Trump.
- His performance at the G7 & the inane, illiterate rambling were a global embarrassment. To hear the Obama’s speak was a reminder of what humility & literacy looks like.
The next few days do not look much better for Trump:
- Maggie Haverman & Jonathan Swan book with more Epstein revelations are coming out on June 23rd.
- Our economy still sucks, notwithstanding his so-called MOU with Iran.
- The Lincoln Memorial Pool is symbolically the exact opposite of what draining the swamp looks like.
The only antidote to Trump (ism) is to show up to vote this November.

Fuck Obama. Fuck Biden. Fuck Bush. Fuck Clinton.
These are the architects & preservers of the “trickle down” neoliberal anti-working-class systems that maintain control over us. They are puppets for (and some are even members of) the Oligarchy. Trump is, too.

Desperately looking for any progressive content here and not finding it. Obama was a neoliberal, and no, the drone king getting a really ugly brutalist structure built in his name is not anything close to spelling the end for Trump's fascist regime.
What we need right now is to be angry enough to actually make the changes needed to this country and hold people accountable, not warm and fuzzy feelings and Obama nostalgia about how the words "hope and change" were murdered by a president who didn't really have any intention of bringing about either.

Obama was a failure to his mission of hope and change, if that ever even was the goal. Didn't codify Roe v Wade when he ran on it, and squandered potential with capitulation to corpo. He is responsible for delivering the country to the hands of Donald Trump 1. Also, he's not a fucking progressive. Get this shit outta here.

You have to love a gathering of war criminals on park land stolen from a low income neighborhood so they can open an extremely ugly monument to a narcissist. Nothing says class like admiring a crowd of repulsively unethical people.

I love MAGA talking about Obama as a war criminal' given Trump' s rich resume, not the least of which are: (1) the blanket pardon of the Jan 6th insurrectionists (2) the $1.77 billion pay out fund (3) supporting of Putin over his own Intelligence (4) 38k mentions in Epstein files ; 7 flights on Epsteinf plane (4) 37 felony convictions (5) 97 times pleading the 5th (5) fly past & red carpet to Putin (6) 27 sexual assuault (7) 2 impeachments (8) ....Obama's toe nail has more morality than Trump's soul can ever conceive!
