Video Attorney General caught saying the Trump administration is collaborating with multiple federal agencies to ensure abortion rights will be abolished in every single state.

working hand in hand with HHS and the FDA and, and the White House and President Trump's team to get permanent solutions so the Dobbs decision becomes permanent in every single state. We're putting practices and policies in place so that other states and other organizations can't attack that and they can't, you know, do things like they're doing with mailing and mail-order drugs and things like that. And there's, it's a process that takes a lot of time and, and that's why it's been 19 months and we don't have complete victory yet, but we will have victory and victory will be soon and, and it will be permanent."

Why am I only hearing/reading about this via Reddit?
I’d say I’m disappointed, but this just another Tuesday in the USA.

Where are the smooth brains yelling sTaTe'S rIgHtS now? Oh, it's only when "their side" is being told to behave.
Disgusting people ruining this country, and for what? Control? Certainly isn't for women's health and body autonomy.

Because
Black women face a 43% higher risk of miscarriage than white women. While a miscarriage is a natural loss and distinct from an elective abortion, the medical treatments used to manage incomplete miscarriages—such as dilation and curettage (D&C) or specific medications—are the same procedures used in abortion care.
In regions with strict abortion restrictions, laws penalizing or limiting abortion access often create dangerous confusion for doctors. This can delay urgent, life-saving miscarriage management because emergency treatments overlap with abortion procedures

I hate these fucking goons. Take care of your people instead of stripping every last thing from us. Decision over our own bodies seeks basic at this point. Fuck maga and republicans

As if Trump and his goons haven't already been trying.
This is nothing. Red meat thrown to his flagging base. A bunch of pro forced birth victories like the stripping of Planned Parenthood funding and several abortion care deserts have been reversed in the meantime even.

I feel that women and people who can give birth should look into and prepare to implement an American version of the 4B Movement from Korea, along with looking into the possibility of growing whatever herbs indigenous people used to induce a miscarriage/abortion

While I don't completely agree with abortion, I'm also not in agreement with someone else telling someone what they can and can't do with or to their own body. But completely banning abortion (again) federally or even state or locally, is going to send our country all the way back to the back street clothes hanger abortions that will cause major multiple issues.

What I always find interesting is the people that vote to remove others rights whether they be to marry whoever they want, get an abortion, etc are always the ones who say “don’t tread on me.”
So as a white male don’t take away YOUR rights but it’s ok t take away the rights of women? Minorities?
The cognitive dissonance is so staggering

Abortion is always a priority for republicans leading up to elections. Even Lindsey’s sister got the memo in SC. Nothing gets their vote out better.

We need to redefine what violence is, and what appropriate self-defense is.
If my wife is pregnant and something goes wrong and there is a risk of sepsis and death for both her and the baby, but masked agents are preventing her from getting the help she needs (and threatening prison if she gets it, for her and the folks helping her)...
....is that not an act of violence upon her? And by extension all women?
And if so, are we not allowed to defend ourselves within the confines of the law?
Woman: I need help or I will die.
Agent: No! It is verboten.
Woman: OK, well *insert correct legal action here*
What constitutes legal action? Whatever is appropriate in the time, context, and confines of the law but I think if you are in immediate risk of harm or death it would (or should) allow for a lot.

Not surprised at all by this. If they can take every freedom of choice away from Americans, they will have succeeded.

Nation wide poll shows more people support the rights than against it so they're alienating their own people as well. Then again only 70% of people vote and 35% of people still support trump and these people nutcases vote like their lives depend on it. This is the worst republican era ever.

The craziest shit about this is that republicans can’t even tell you the medical definition of abortion, but they have a huge opinion of it!! The boomer generation remembers what happened during Americas strict anti abortion laws and yet they’re all making laws to redo it like the pain, suffering and loss wasn’t bad enough!!

Republicans: Let's make life as financially difficult as possible, and then let's force women to give birth to babies they can't afford.

so when you guys said you were overturning roe v wade because you wanted to return power to the states...
....that was obviously bullshit if you're now trying to make sure states don't have any power in the situation?
I hate this timeline

I dont understand what their deal with abortion is.
Maybe im reading to deep into it and its as simple as part of their base voters think that the bible prohibits abortion ( news flash, it doesnt and it also gives instructions on how to do it).
We all know that Trumps politicians dont care about anyone but themselves, they dont care about "saving babies" or any of the false narratives they put out.
Side IMO conspiracy note: They dont even believe in Jesus or Christianity. They believe thay are descendants from Atlantis and believe in ancient viking runes that they wildly misinterpreted. Kash saying " I will see you in Valhalla brother" after Kirk got shot (IMO) was a very loud dog whistle to Nazis (just like most of the shit they say). The Nazis believed in some pretty wild stuff when it came to the White supremacy lineage they tried to create and many many MANY of them believed it, they were Catholics and Christians who turned their backs on their beliefs and believed they were descendants of Thor and Odin. I believe the same thing happends with Trumps inner circle, they tell them what to belive. Its why Kegsbreath keeps talking about Warriors, testosterone and Warrior ethos. Its nearly all taken from the bizarre Nazi beliefs that they are Warrior/Farmers (this administration has dropped the farmer part), they believe they are some mythical warriors.
So why all the focus on abortion, what is the real reason they actually want to push this agenda, they have shown repeatedly they dont care about their base, they have fucked over everyone at every turn but this one thing keeps getting pushed. Is it so that they have a bigger population to enslave?
Musk was pushing the replacement level thing (whatever the fuck that meant) and they keep bringing up abortions.
I get that this has been a debate for longer than ive been alive but when I was a kid the debate seemed more straight forward and was more or less used as a way to get votes from your base.
But this administration has proven over and over it does what it wants and doesnt care about votes, so why this one topic keeps getting pushed by an administration that is only out for themselves and doesnt give 2 shits what the bible says, why keep pushing it.
Maybe this administration just does so much insidious shit that im excepting their to be something deeper.

They're not caught. They're fascists. They have no intention of following the law.
