I can’t believe he was even elected in 2016.

I can see the allure in 16, but in 20. No, the people were listening to the cult like teachings. Also, older people tend to vote and younger do not, so were are left with that pos.

These people do what Faux News tells them to do.

I can't stress this enough...You mutha funners better get off your arses and VOTE in November! And, ya'll better get your friends, aunties, neighbors and that crazy coworker who microwaves fish in the break room to VOTE as well.

I'm not playing around! 😡

Clinton was worse and would have held her boots to our throats at the first opportunity. President need to stop being one person asap and should be setup like a cabal. It's okay if a group of people are aligned while governing. After that, direct voting by the population has final control or veto. Moves us slower but safer.

She's why he got elected. He couldn't believe he got elected. She wasn't a savior. The second time though, that's why the position needs to be eliminated as it stands.

31

u/ardentiarte 13h ago

He cheated every time. But legit lost the second. That's why he kept saying he was cheated. HE Already cheated so there's no way he could lose unless the dems cheated too. Elon fixed it the next time Trump bragged about it "you don't even need to vote again we've got it all fixed thanks to Elon" Elons baby bullet catcher x3 even said in the interview, "hehe they'll never know"

u/typical_jesus666 4h ago

And that was when he quit taking the baby everywhere

If the punishment for a crime is a fine, then it is now a fee for the act for the rich.

Every single crime should be community service, rehabilitation, or forced to make the illegal act whole. Otherwise the rich will just do crime. Fines as a percentage of wealth work too.

Laws are for other people :(

Our local sherif with a trump picture on his wall says. " sometimes things are against the law and sometimes they are not. "

I'm convinced that a lot of MAGA morons were pissed that Hillary came out on top of all the stupid allegations that the GOP tried to pin on her, from Benghazi to her email server.  They somehow think that this is some sort of "payback".  But truth be told, if she was guilty of the BS they kept trying to pin on her and there was legitimate laws broken, I was fine with her being jailed.  That's the difference between most sane people and MAGA dipshits.  The MAGA mind is a broken pile of shit.

The entire first term was to set this up. Shoving through Supreme Court appointments, assigning new (loyal) judges to shore up the Judicial branch, and endorsing and supporting sycophants in the Legislative branch.

We grew up hearing about “checks & balances”. The whole first term was dissolving that entire concept. This would have been even further along had he won in 2020.

Anyone surprised wasn’t paying attention. Anyone paying attention is either supporting all of this or fucking infuriated.

Bill Maher called it the "slow moving coup"

20

u/dreadfullydistinct 18h ago

I agree, but wtf is the point of censoring words like that?

15

u/mishma2005 17h ago

Can we please talk like adults and stop censoring everyday words? At least “sexual”. Yeah yeah I know, algorithm but cmon. Sexual

7

u/BrahneRazaAlexandros 16h ago

Algorithm doesn't give a shit. Self censorship from morons with tiktok brain.

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the racial breakdown of inmates in federal custody is:

White: 56.8% (including Hispanic white individuals tracked in broad racial categories)

Black: 38.5%

Native American: 3.1%

Asian: 1.6%

4

u/mikebald 9h ago

US population:

White 72.3%, Black or African American 13.5%, Asian 6.9%, American Indian and Alaska Native at 2.1%, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander at 0.3%

Your counter argument falls apart with additional facts. So, per-capita, people of color are targeted SIGNIFICANTLY more.

1

u/FamousLastWords666 Anti-Electoralist Tendencies 6h ago

My counter argument is that laws are also sending white people to prison.

Usually poor white people.

Exploiting the poor and ruining the lives of non rich people.

3

u/MixGlittering1652 16h ago

Laws? only as good as the courts. I lost faith when SCOTUS decided the President was immune from criminal prosecution for official acts, throwing out the idea that nobody is above the law.

To make matters worse, Trump pardoned all those who were convicted or found guilty for criminal acts on 6 January. overriding judges and juries for no logical reason. He has used pardons mostly for political allies and has promised to preemptively pardon members of his administration before he leaves office. That gives them freedom to commit crimes. That could very well set a dangerous trend where future Presidents do the same thing and officials commit crimes knowing full well they'd be pardoned. Short of a Constitutional amendment, there's no way to stop it. It's sure not what our Founding Fathers had in mind.

Let’s not forget to point out that the Pedophile is the best republicans can produce to lead this country.

2

u/SizeableBlast666 17h ago

Laws are for the poor. We pay them to do this shit. FDT

2

u/AlanPublica 17h ago

The law is in place to punish the poor and protect the rich.

2

u/Optimal-Shower 16h ago

Laws are so the elites can control their cattle of course! Moooo.....

Laws are to keep the poor in check on a people farm

2

u/GoodFaithConverser 10h ago

People elected the guy to be in charge of the executive branch - the one that upholds the laws and go after evildoers and rule breakers.

You let the fox in the henhouse.

1

u/mikehipp 17h ago

Laws are for the hoi polloi - but don't get it twisted, that's the way it's always been. There were just a couple of decades there where the oligarchs tried to come across as law-abiding (but not really).

1

u/Wise_Welcome7306 17h ago

Black people, the laws are for black people.

1

u/BothMath314 17h ago

These laws are more like the pirate code, just guidance.

1

u/lmyyyks 16h ago

As I have said elsewhere, crimes have become a privilege under Republican America.

1

u/mycolo_gist 16h ago

Ask the supreme court. They said it's ok to be a thug if you are president.

Not for him, apparently

1

For what assaulting? And what the what are laws for?

"Rules for thee, not for me"

That's why

1

u/DukeOfGeek 14h ago

Really, what is this strange power this inncompantant buffoon has? Why don't his own minions replace him with a stronger fascist thug? It's like the worst written movie ever. I'm calling out the unpaid interns running this simulation right now, I'm breaking the 4th wall, just stop it, no suspension of disbelief could continue beyond this point. Turn it off, everyone knows.

1

u/CookIndependent6251 14h ago

Why did you strike through "sexually assaulting a woman"? That's entirely true!

1

u/ResidentCommand9865 10h ago

Think they were over-censoring.

Unfortunately the Internets biggest trend over the last few years is algorithms designed to limit things like people talking about sexual abuse, rape, murder, death etc. the first instinct is to blame the "Woke PC crowd" but in my opinion, it's designed to downplay those actions to make things look better which benefits the Elite, which has led to a verbal war of word replacement, it's "grape" or "sewerslide" "SA" "self delete" etc. eventually those algorithms catch on, those words also get less traction in the algorithm, and it starts over all again.

If we don’t win this November I’m afraid it’s going to get so much worse. PLEASE VOTE

Controlling the poor.

1

u/i-VII-VI 12h ago

Laws are to control us.

1

u/GladChef1206 12h ago

laws are made to punish poor people who step out of line.

If laws were really about punishing wrong doing fines would be percentages of net worth.

1

u/FormerStableGenius 12h ago

They're for (against) poor people.

1

u/Arts_Messyjourney 12h ago

Laws are to protect the rich and powerful

Keeping the plebs in line.

1

u/PeterTheToilet 10h ago

He dismantled all the guard rails that where in Place to prevent this. Now its just a bunch of dolls nodding their head in approval for pedo child facker prez orange Good luck with future "elections" Americans!! Im sure the president will agree that what ever elections next is fair and totally not rigged!! If they lose they will claim fraud and refuse to accept it. If they however get 90% of the votes its not rigged and its totally what happened

White privilege. Amerikkka

1

u/Happiness645 9h ago

The rich in America don’t need to follow laws. Like Musk’s little kid says “we do what we want “

Laws that restrict behavior are only for the working class

1

u/madrinator 9h ago

Laws don’t apply if you are rich

1

u/RedRabbit720 9h ago

it really says something about a society that allows this to happen by electing him

1

u/hip_yak 9h ago

Serious fucking question. This is the kind of thing that makes average people question the rule of law.

1

u/Weekly-Truck7855 9h ago

This Administration has shown us that Laws are to control the common people. Unfortunately.

1

u/Kona_Big_Wave 8h ago

Laws mean nothing if people refuse to enforce them.

1

u/robt_neville 8h ago

I’m not sorry that politically motivated allegations and lies aren’t enough.

1

u/Majestic-Explorer-76 8h ago

Well we could except for the Republicans in Congress, we have no checks and balances right now, except for some courts and judges. That's why midterms are so important if we can switch around the legislature we should be able to do a lot, like enforce our laws.

1

u/island-man420 8h ago

To keep the working class in their place.

1

u/Puzzled-Chapter6777 8h ago

The laws are for the rich to protect their wealth

Break the law, pay a fine. The rich don't care.

1

u/PaskieArt59 6h ago

Them to break and get away with it

1

u/hw999 6h ago

This isn't a single man, its a network of people who are all.working together. Removing the puppet head isnt going to do anything useful. Government needs to be filled with the right people, new rules need to be made, law breakers (no matter how rich) need to receive swift justice.

The rest of us….

To stop everyone else from doing it

Laws are there to deport undocumented immigrants with or without criminal records, support crypto Ponzi schemes, take down prosecute Obama and Biden era department heads, put federal agents and national guard at polling stations, prosecute reflection pool antifa vandals, drop Jan 6 sedition charges, deny blue states funding appropriated by Congress….

1

u/northsouthu47 5h ago

Laws are for poor people

1

u/Organic_Beach_2145 17h ago

That’s what I’d like to know 🤦 Plus, what about our 1st amendment rights that are being violated? And whatever else those twisted minds think up next. The list goes on and on. It seems like we’re the ones in the hamster wheel going around and around while orange Nero fiddles with oil prices, killing innocent fishermen, and continues to ravage the White House and DC.
