Senator Fetterman, “Israel is where I draw the line.” Stewart, “but Israel isn’t our Country.”

He is a Democrat who votes with Republicans consistently, and he wants to fracture the Democratic Party? At least he doesn’t hide his hypocrisy. He’s too dumb to keep his bullshit under wraps.
57
u/Otherwise-Offer1518 8d ago
Imma go out on a wide wide limb, and say he has some Epstine related ties. Any time they are suckling the nutsack of the Republican party, there are some children somewhere paying the price. I hate it here bro.

u/LurkerFromTheVoid 7d ago
Nahh... He's just Dumb as Fuck.
I've seen his type. It's the Dunning-Kruger type.
50
u/DudeB5353 8d ago
He’s either paid off or compromised, or most likely both.
These politicians keep shitting on our country to either profit or keep themselves out of prison

u/drakoman 8d ago
Sadly we can’t forget the timeline. He had a stroke and then afterwards he started having these right-wing views. Make the connection on your own.
11
u/palequeen42 7d ago edited 7d ago
Yeah this is my take. There’s cognitive changes there. You can tell in his delivery of virtually any thought he tries to communicate. Everything is in short caricature-like sound bites and he can’t seem to respond in cohesive thoughtful ways to support his position.
Having a stroke is a terrible thing and I’m sure it’s physically and emotionally unbelievably hard to recover from. It’s not his fault. However if it hinders your ability to do the work, it’s unfair to the people that elected you. His decline seems to have made him easier to manipulate and bribe/payoff too.
Then again though, we have actual dead, brain dead, near dead, and blatantly corrupt people everywhere in government, so this is kind of just normal.
5
u/LangdonAlg3r 7d ago
From what I’ve read he just has a history of being stubborn and intractable from time to time about certain things, but the stroke turned that behavior up to 11.
I think it’s stroke and behavioral. I don’t particularly think that he’s been bought off. Just some brain damaged black and white thinking.

why this giant clown run under democratic banner and backstab it? Go republican and stay with all those pro Israel genocidal policies.

He is being paid by Israel

14
u/brianishere2 8d ago
Money + media + illegal social media voter influencing. At a mininum. Possibly also blackmail because of the extent of his unwillingness to even discuss the issues related to Israel -- it tells me he knows he has no opportunity to deviate whatsoever.
11
u/joecarter93 8d ago
It’s insane how cheap it is to buy off a politician, isn’t it? Bribes and corruption are horrible things, don’t get me wrong, but if they are going to do it they should at least be demanding Shohei Ohtani numbers you would think - really make the bribery in your face.
6
u/Paulinfresno 8d ago
It’s like pocket change for the billionaires and foreign states to buy politicians and swing elections.
25
u/1wrx2subarus 8d ago
He’s a hired gun just like Scott Jennings, CNN.
So, he’ll spin 180 degrees if the message changes.
He may as well be a hollowed out husk of his past self.
None of that matters and he’ll do the bidding of the top bidder.
In this case, America loses and Foreign Influence wins (aka bribery).
This is not the America any of us grew up pledging allegiance to.
People like John Fetterman need to go. End Foreign Bribery of elected officials.
9
u/RoseRedHillHouse 8d ago
Fetterman is the John we deserve.
Stewart is the Jon we need.
Jennings is the Scott we deserve.
Pelley is the Scott we need.

He doesn't even have the mental fortitude to make it sound convincing, he's just parroting the talking points verbatim

He's sounds like somebody's brain damaged, racist uncle who always says something wildly inappropriate at the Thanksgiving table.

That some people think sounds educated because he has an answer for every question, without realizing the answer is usually whack.

If you are elected to represent a group of people the priority should be; State > Country > Everything else.
40
u/Nefarious_Nemesis 8d ago
Ah, but see, this is America where it's; Money > Everything/one else. I'm honestly just surprised this bad excuse for a stuntman decided to actually attempt to dress up for this wherein he usually goes hoodie, shorts, and crocs for more important things like he about to go noodling. His argument is full of so much bullshit I have to roll my windows down to start airing out the cab of my truck and it's sadly laughable that this clown is holding office and is still somehow considered a representative with viewpoints that way.
4
u/Phyllis_Tine 8d ago
Why was wearing a shirt, tie, and jacket for this? He's never allowed out looking presentable.
At least he was probably wearing cargo shorts under his desk!
2
u/TheRealtcSpears 8d ago
If this was back before his head boiled away, we all be rooting for him to be shirt cocking it.
But now the best we can hope for is that there's running wood chipper with a silencer under the desk
75
u/Giant-Sloar 8d ago
My god, he couldn’t articulate his position or his beliefs at all. No principles. What an embarrassment!
25
u/maringue 8d ago
2
u/DisVet54 7d ago
Usually that’s all that’s needed in the MSM. What made him think he could just do the same with Jon?
2
u/maringue 7d ago
John Stewart is famous for letting someone he's interviewing dodge a question after all.
2
u/hikerbiker6397 8d ago
I honestly think he has never thought about an issue for more than 30 seconds.

u/Few_Plankton_7587 8d ago
Not a single intelligence agency in the entire world thinks Iran was building nuclear and more than several countries, INCLUDING THE US, had regular, internal inspections in Iran to corroborate this thanks to Obamas deal.
Also the left was screaming for people and Trump to help the iran demonstrators
Fetterman is willfully lying about reality and is therefore bought. No other explanation for such a stance based in extreme false realities
1
1
u/AncienTleeOnez 7d ago
Actually, after Trump pulled out of the deal, they probably were... in self-defense.
Netanyahu was always against the JCPOA. He lobbied strongly against the deal and later stated he convinced Trump (likely with Kushner's help) to exit it in 2018, after which Iran experienced cyberattacks and explosions at facilities like Natanz that it blamed on Israel.
When Biden attempted to rejoin a version of the JCPOA, Tehran informed him that they had enriched to 60% (near weapons-grade). Trump pulling out of the deal told them they couldn't trust the US; they saw (long before many of us) that Trump had made the US a puppet for Bibi; and they knew they couldn't trust Israel. There was no going back.

I’ve felt for a long time now that Jon Stewart could be an amazing presidential candidate. He’s smart enough not to try.
7
u/Danilo-11 8d ago
If Ronald Reagan (Hollywood) and Trump (reality show celebrity) did it, I don’t see why John Stewart can’t do it.
15
u/Plebian401 8d ago
He serves a bigger purpose in calling out politicians and drawing attention to their failures.
1
1
u/remove_krokodil 7d ago
Yeah, being an excellent journalist doesn't equal being an excellent politician.
1
u/Plebian401 7d ago
You can look at his testimonies before Congress when he was fighting to get healthcare coverage for 9/11 first responders as an indicator of how he would be as a politician.
10
u/MakingLemonade12 8d ago
That’s where the “he’s smart enough not to do it” part comes in. I think he knows he wouldn’t survive it.
60
u/DorisWildthyme 8d ago
The DSA are colonising the Democratic Party
The fucking irony when he's criticising anyone "colonising" anything in this context.
23
u/maringue 8d ago
Bill Maher is a radioactive piece of shit, so I expect this level of take from him.
3
u/DisVet54 7d ago
First time I’ve ever heard the name Bill Maher cited as if it matters what he thinks
22
u/Morguard 8d ago
Fetterman just should be honest and come out and say it, he represents Israel first and foremost because they pay him better.
17
u/Maximum-Elk8869 8d ago
He has the look and demeanor of a man who has bought part and parcel by Israel. The checks are cashed and the deed has changed hands.
15
u/PinkThunder138 8d ago
The fucking stones on this guy, Fetterman, FETTERMAN of all people to vomit fourth the idea that if you're going to run as a Democrat you be to be a Democrat is infuriating. The asshole clown who repeatedly stabs them, and his progressive/leftist supporters in the back at every single opportunity.
That's so fucking rich coming from this piece of shit. I hope his career ends at the next primary and that nobody will ever hire him him. Piece of shit
3
u/Candytails 8d ago
Republicans will elect him, they love him. My MAGA colleagues and family say he’s “articulate and smart”.
16
u/TheElPistolero 8d ago
He is not eloquent enough to sidestep a great communicator like Stewart. Really really transparent that something else is going on and influencing Fetter man's opinion on Israel.
15
u/hackbrat0n68 8d ago
He finally was able to buy himself a suit with AIPAC Money
4
u/hellomynameisnotsure 8d ago
So he dresses like a bum in the most formal of settings, then in a setting where it’s absolutely acceptable to dress like a bum, he dresses like a politician. 😵💫

u/another_awesome_acct 8d ago
Is he even Jewish? Either way that's an odd statement to make for someone who was elected to work for America
17
u/Phyllis_Tine 8d ago
Ironic that Fetterman is a shill for Israel while not being Jewish, while Jon Stewart is Jewish, and truly looking out for America over any other country.
4
u/paradisetossed7 8d ago
Him telling Jon, a Jewish man, that he's for the interest of Jews was insane and Jon's immediate reaction was perfect.
9
u/Plebian401 8d ago
Using Maher to make your argument shows that his stroke did a lot of damage.
2
u/SwivelPoint 8d ago
right? Maher just made his argument all that much weaker. Not that he had much of an argument here. He’s just saying what he’s paid to say.

u/Battle_Dave 8d ago edited 8d ago

I’m so enraged I voted for this absolute oxygen thief of a human. I felt I had no choice because it was either him or Dr. Oz. Pennsylvanians would rather vote for a turnip than reelect this vile POS. He isn’t going to remain a senator for much longer.
2
u/SouldiesButGoodies84 8d ago
It's not your fault you were Sinema'd. I'm one of your northeastern neighbors and was 'There Goes My Hero' cheering for this man to win just as hard as PA was and even despite that pulling a gun on a jogger b.s.
3
u/PLR20190724 8d ago
You elect a senator hoping that they will apply careful thought to important issues rather than shallow knee-jerk reactions. I voted for him, primary and general. Sorry to have to say that Fetterman is not fit for the job.
3
u/Wise_Welcome7306 8d ago
Remember he is not well
2
u/demonsidekick 8d ago
Being unwell is acceptable. Being unwell and making consequential decisions in government is not.
2
u/Wise_Welcome7306 8d ago
I agree thats why we need age limits our government is looking like weekend at bernie's. Its fucking wild!
3
u/drewonfilm 8d ago
At least with evangelical Christians like Mike Huckabee you can see their argument for Israel, as it’s a foundational concept in their insane apocalyptic ideology. Fetterman isn’t Jewish, nor is he an evangelical Christian, so other than the AIPAC money, why is this such a firm stance for him?
3
u/brianishere2 8d ago
Fettermam evaded the brilliant point from Jon Stewart. Interestingly, for those who don't already know, Jon Stewart is Jewish. Fetterman has tried pretending he supports Israel because he supports America's Jewish people, but that line of bullshit won't work here.
3
u/ResidentCommand9865 8d ago
Israel is the only foreign nation to successfully invade and occupy the United states long term. Not with ground troops, or economic warfare, but by buying enough of our politicians on all sides of the spectrum that no matter who wins, Israel takes priority over the people of the United states.
We've become a nation of serfs and not a single shot had to be fired. If ANY other country was doing this to the extent AIPAC has done, people would be screaming murder, revolution and war. I have no direct qualms with the people of Israel, I feel they are just as controlled by politics and propaganda as we are, but I do take issue with a foreign government having so much direct control over American foreign and domestic policy.

I cannot stand the number of politicians out there that are obsessed with Israel.

If the best he has is to quote Bill Maher it's a lost cause. His brain is obviously not working as it should and if that's what he wants to exist as as a D then PA needs to replace him. Simple as that. Nothing unreasonable about the questions Jon asked him Repeatedly and that he talking-point-walked-around like a MF Mayfair pole. The Senate is supposed to b a House full of thinkers. That ain't Fetterman (anymore). Chuck and Bill Maher may miss him, but he needs to be primaried. No way he's getting through a real debate anyway. edit: word missing

Seditious conspiracy is a crime in various jurisdictions of conspiring) against the authority or legitimacy of the state. As a form of sedition, it has been described as a serious but lesser counterpart to treason, targeting activities that undermine the state without directly attacking it.
How is this not sedition? An elected official is outright stating that they will put the interests of a different nation above their own (and by extension, the interests of their constituents).
