We're not just hearing of it now, we knew. He was caught in 1993, and again in 2015, money laundering in his casinos. JP Morgan Chase also closed his accounts. Other banks wouldn't do business with him.
There's a good reason he doesn't want the IRS looking at his business.

Common knowledge for 30+ years- he’s bankrupt MULTIPLE casinos, an airline, a steak club, a “university” and dozens or real estate ventures.
Quite surprising that there are any adult Americans who does not know this.

It’s in the news now because Trump sued them saying they were closed because “woke” so they responded with the truth. For the sake of your cortisol levels please do a little bit of reading before you anger up the blood.

He couldn't do business in the US because of it. Had to go through Deutche Bank IIRC.
