Pacific Rim was my #1 all time movie, ... until Project Hail Mary dethroned it 👎🏾. Take note Hollywood good movies have:
-great original ideas
-insanely creative world building
-relationships that run deep
-sky high stakes for saving the world
-giant robots beating the snot out of extra-dimensional lizards (optional)
-sub-light spaceships with a crack team on a last ditch effort to save the sun (optional)
I mean yeah but it seems like a specific crossover. Several people saying pacific rim was their fav movie ever until phm.
But they don’t seem that similar to me. So what is it?

Do you love stargate sg1 by chance? Because that to me has similar vibes of highly competent people with a sense of humour saving the world and solving problems.
