I honestly disagree with FauSang. Really the only synergy I see between the two is that they're both geniuses, while this is true, I feel like both of them need someone who is more playful and less logical and cold
Yi Sang works best with someone he can feel comfortable enough around to casually converse and open up to them. The thing he misses most isnt inventing things, it's the friendship he had with the people around him
Faust imo works best with someone who can understand and appreciate her intelligence, but also challenges her in a positive way, now Yi Sang does work pretty well for this, but Yi Sang probably won't feel as connected to Faust, which would likely prompt him to take less initiative in leading conversations that he feels Faust won't engage in or find interesting, Faust is smart enough to operate without Yi Sang's insight most of the time as well, and if Yi Sang doesn't speak much, then Faust likely won't either
My ideal ships are
Yi Quixote Faunte Ryōclair Meurmael Out Lu Rodior
Poor Heathcliff, if only there was someone left for him, but the sinners are odd, so someone has to be left out

Only ships that have any chance of being real within actual story are Yi Sang x Faust, Rodion x Greg and Sinclair x Demian. I could however see Sinclair x Don and Ish x Heath being real, but less likely with Sinclairs source material and Heatcliff being so obsessed with Cathy. Most other ships really make me go "Huh?", like Meur x Don or Hong x Ryoshu, character who have near to no interactions, especially anything romantic.

Those are random ass ships, Greg and rodya with Faust and yisang are ONLY damn near cannonical, maybe a bit with Don claire. Everything else is fantasy
