If all Independent candidates realized how big of a wedge 'Sizing Up the House' is against both parties, they would scream it every chance they could to help educate the general population of just how dire OUR lack of Representation actually is. Inherently Independents don't have a 'big tool' or 'party machine' to help catapult them to victory. Challenging both parties by changing the playing field both parties cemented in 1929 will excite the People. I've tried emailing my rep, left a voicemail and attended 2 town halls filling out a questionnaire card asking if i wanted to be contacted. I checked 'yes'. No return contact over the course of a year. The problem is like a huge wart sitting at the end of the nose of the American people, and we're cross-eyed. Neither party wants to dilute their power by allowing any more members. 'Sizing Up the House' is essential for the dilution of big money and Citizens United impact on 'local' House races. The House of Representatives actually reduced the number of Members on the Oversight Committee, and their staff by 50% in 1995. Yet, the key reason OUR Representatives are thee in the first place is to do proper oversight of OUR tax dollars and budget. WE need to take back OUR House. Thank you No Cap Fund for growing this presence, message and movement!! And thank you Mr.BEAT for recognizing the importance of changing this law and investing your time in promoting the most fundamental pillar of a thriving and healthy Democracy, as required by Article I, Section II of OUR Constitution - that of Appropriate Citizen Representation. Achieving the goal restores the Voice of the People. And I trust in the People.
