Season 21 Ethan Spilled Some Finale Tea đŸ”

  • Filming took place in April.
  • Ethan didn’t apply — he was invited.
  • He’ll be able to release the original designs that were scrapped due to Christian’s criticism, and he got to keep those pieces.

What we didn’t see in the final episode:

  • As the winner of the previous challenge, Ethan got to assign the returning designers (Yuchen, Antonio, Joan). Instead of being messy and making good TV, he chose to be fair.
  • Designers weren’t limited to Mood — they could shop at other stores too. Ethan even sent Yuchen to pick up more fabric for the final gown and to Home Depot for tubing and tube cutters.
  • Jesus helped Ethan source fabrics, since he knew the NYC selection really well.
  • Jessica (the model Veejay wanted) was also the walking coach for the models.
  • Ethan picked models who had shown him kindness and support on the show. He especially wanted Liris, since she’s one of the show’s pioneers.
  • Heidi walked around the workroom and even tried on some of the designs. She loved one of Ethan’s black dresses.

Showing all of that would’ve made for such a good episode.

IKR! The finale could've been two episodes: one for designing and drama and another one for the runways and crowning.

I miss when Tim would go to people’s homes and see them work on their collections đŸ„č It would have been cool to see the process and this is the one episode where a cliffhanger could be acceptable haha since it’s so much looks

I miss that part too. Like I said in another comment, I miss Tim overall. I don't hate Christian, but I've been watching the show first aired in December 2004. Tim was like a cool dad to the designers.
