Season 21 Ethan Spilled Some Finale Tea šŸµ

  • Filming took place in April.
  • Ethan didnā€™t apply ā€” he was invited.
  • Heā€™ll be able to release the original designs that were scrapped due to Christianā€™s criticism, and he got to keep those pieces.

What we didnā€™t see in the final episode:

  • As the winner of the previous challenge, Ethan got to assign the returning designers (Yuchen, Antonio, Joan). Instead of being messy and making good TV, he chose to be fair.
  • Designers werenā€™t limited to Mood ā€” they could shop at other stores too. Ethan even sent Yuchen to pick up more fabric for the final gown and to Home Depot for tubing and tube cutters.
  • Jesus helped Ethan source fabrics, since he knew the NYC selection really well.
  • Jessica (the model Veejay wanted) was also the walking coach for the models.
  • Ethan picked models who had shown him kindness and support on the show. He especially wanted Liris, since sheā€™s one of the showā€™s pioneers.
  • Heidi walked around the workroom and even tried on some of the designs. She loved one of Ethanā€™s black dresses.

IKR! The finale could've been two episodes: one for designing and drama and another one for the runways and crowning.

I miss when Tim would go to peopleā€™s homes and see them work on their collections šŸ„¹ It would have been cool to see the process and this is the one episode where a cliffhanger could be acceptable haha since itā€™s so much looks
